Kabob Palace offers truly authentic Persian food. The service; truly amazing! Other then traveling to Zagros you can get the full experience of good home cooked comfort food right here in Winnipeg. Don't miss it! Worthy of a Michelin.

Anybody who is a foodie should definitely visit this place, the food is unique, tasty & affordable. Definitely try the olive side dish. I'm not sure is you can still walk in without a reservation since last year but it's worth a try.

Some of the best food in the city. My personal favourite? Koobideh Kabob. Two skewers, perfectly seasoned, with excellent basmati rice, actually plenty for 2 normal appetites. The value for money is astounding. It is my understanding that the entire operation is halal, so, only non alcoholic beverages: try their doogh (persian yogurt drink). And very friendly, in an honest... More

Kabab palace was a delightful surprise.we chose a couple of appetizers that were flavorful without being overwhelming (salad and eggplant). We had mixed shwarma and boneless leg of chicken Kabab as main courses. The food was as plentiful as it was tasty. All ingredients were fresh, seasoning was perfect. A subtle Creamy garlic sauce and hot sauce were accompaniments. The... More

I'll admit that I'm worried for this place. Every time I go past it, it seems quite empty. But after eating here for the 3rd tme, I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg. The food is, quite simply, beyond delicious. Everyone in Winnipeg should eat here! Often. I'll admit that it's more expensive... More

I don't know where to start from. This restaurant is terrible. I have had Persian food before and this place does not deserve any penny. Food is tasteless and service is terrible. Their kabob is broiled ground beef with no spices. What a waste of time and money.

Our foodie group were looking forward to this Persian restaurant and we weren't disappointed. I've never had Persian food either, so it was a very pleasant surprise for all of us. Even when I made the reservation, the owner boasted about the wonderful meal and experience he would make sure we had... he was absolutely beaming and it was a... More

Although familiar with quite a few middle-east dishes and having prepared them myself, eating food here was a voyage of discovery that we thoroughly enjoyed. The lady of the house obviously takes pleasure in introducing Persian food to neophytes like us and her wonderful sense of humour adds a sprinkling of extra flavour to what you are eating. The food... More

My husband and I first went here a few months ago, before the silk rugs were hung on the wall, and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful to have an authentic Persian restaurant in the city. Try the Persian tea, goes great with the meal. We have been back a few times. Always delicious.

Charming, squeaky clean, vibrantly happy paint colours. Top qualty food. The koubideh is outstanding, best I have ever had. Super friendly service. A+ in every way. OK, the neighbourhood is not the ritziest at this time, but quality restaurants like this help enormously in the evolution of their surroundings.
