The best Peking Duck in town!

The best Peking Duck dishes I’ve experienced; enough to fill the appetite of a family of four. The pineapple and lychee breaded shrimp is our new favourite. Staff here are very warm and friendly giving good suggestions off the menu and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Thanks for a pleasant experience!!

Good food, generous portions

The food was very flavourful, properly cooked, with generous portions. The serving staff was polite and got the food order correct the first time. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated, but not exceptional. There is plenty of free parking in the common area lot of the strip mall it is in. Pricing during 2021/Aug visit were a little on the high side, but given the portion sizing and COVID-19, prices were not excessive. I took home a lot of food for st home eating after dining inside.

Another of my stand bys. I have followed the owner since his former restaurant. As with most restaurant there are better things and less fares. But the war wonton, shrimp rolls, singapore noodles and coconut shrimp are always perfect. Many of the dishes, especially the restaurant specialties, are very good. Some of the americanized dishes are just average...there are better places for those. They are adequate but you cheat yourself from the really good stuff. Food is always hot and like or not a dish...consistent. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. Do yourself a favour, go to this restaurant. If you find the average dishes just note them and next time find a better alternative.

Greasy and no flavor. 😵‍💫

The food is incredibly greasy and has no flavor. We tried the almond chicken, the special fried rice, deep fried shrimp and several other dishes... None of them were anything to write home about. Do not recommend.

Good Food with Variety and value for Money

Group of five ordering one dish each. Flavourful food. Not just same old. More than enough food for all of us. The restaurant has atmosphere. Food was fresh and delivered hot to the table. Only 4 rating as our table top lazy Susan needed maintenance. Great customer service. Would eat here again.

Ginger Beef!

One of Our Favourites!! I don't understand how this restaurant could get a one star review... We are planning a trip to Winnipeg, this place is on the agenda. Ginger Beef, Singapore Noodles (curry), Mooshoo Beef. Wow! I can not wait.

Grubby place….decent food.

Large menu with some interesting choices and we always get a good selection of items. Quite a large restaurant but the inside needs some TLC and cleaning. Hallway to the bathrooms are used as storage and the bathrooms themselves…….not the best. Mirrors on the walls and windows/doors are filthy. Carpets dirty and worn out. I didn’t want to think about or see the kitchen. All that said…..the food was good and price is reasonable. Might be better as take out.

Great Place for Chinese Food

I tried a few dishes here for take-out and I must say that I will definitely be going again. Portion size was great, loved the food, food was ready reasonably fast, and the staff was very friendly. I really have no complaints. Excellent!

Least favorite chinese restaurant in Winnipeg.

The food was brought out 5 minutes apart which was annoying to say the least. Most of the food was awful. We would not recommend.

No Delivery! Can no longer order.

Always excellent food & service! Portions are generous & well cooked. Restaurant isn't fancy but has a good atmosphere probably because people are enjoying the food soo much. Unfortunately, there isn't any delivery. As I am now in a wheelchair & don't drive haven't had it for a long time. Very sad.

So Easy To Love!

THIS was our "bowl" of wonton soup at 'Fortune Cooking' in Winnipeg! WOWZERS!! I didn't expect THIS!! It was HUGE... and it was DELICIOUS!! Next time... just the soup, and nothing else. Yes, that's large ladle. Thank You So Much! This restaurant is so easy to love! This place is easily one of my favorite places to eat in The Peg. Already looking forward to my next visit to your restaurant. Merci Beaucoup!

My husband and I love to try new restaurants and this one was recommended by friends. It was good and the staff was great. However there was nothing spectacular about it, the food was just okay.
