I wanna write a disappointing experience that I had couple weeks ago at the Clay Oven Express on Manitoba Hydro. My boyfriend got butter chicken with rice to go. When we were eating it at home I felt the chicken was kinda chewy, we cut...it and we realized it was a little bit raw from the inside, he called them and they said to bring it back. We had to drive to downtown again just to find that the manager and the chef were not able to fix the problem. My partner showed them the raw parts and asked for a refund (just for the Chicken) But they denied because for them it wasn’t raw, the worst part is that they were yelling and speaking in their own language to my boyfriend which perfectly showed the poorest customer service. At the end they just “exchanged” the butter chicken from the same container they gave us the first one.(we obviously didn’t eat it because we didn’t want to take the risk). For sure we will never come back to eat from this chain of restaurants but please start providing better training and healthy measures with your back and front line.More

Enjoyed a fantastic meal from Clay Oven. Ordered through SKIP. Butter chicken was amazing, bread arrived hot, fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place

Went before a Goldeye’s game. We ate on the patio. During games the patio costs $5 but free before the game. Food was excellent and prices were great. We also had a couple coupons. We had the Chana masala and the aloo gobi. Both were...exceptional. They must have pregrilled the cauliflower. You can pick your spice level too. We are pretty good with spicy and asked for medium. It was perfect. Portions were fair. Would be a perfect place for dinner and a game. Food as good as east India company. Service was meh but fineMore

We stopped in for lunch, and split the butter chicken dish with an extra order of rice and naan. I forgot to take a photo though.

We went to this place as this was close to the boat ride we had at the forks market. My daughter only eats plain dosa so we ordered one for her and also ordered gobi Manchurian and veg Hakka noodles. It was a takeout and...when we reached our hotel we noticed that the dosa was a masala dosa instead of plain dosa, there were no chutney or sambhar provided. Manchurian was cold and greasy. I read a lot of good reviews of this place and decided to try them. The only thing which was super disappointing was the dosa as my 3 year old had to eat bread at the hotel.More

I usually really like this place but have had a very disappointing experience the last two times. The latest experience was with a take out. My food was cold (not the biggest deal breaker), my veggies tasted dirty, the spice was below mild (it had...so little flavour it’s unreal) and it was so dry I could hardly stomach it with the rice.More

I went expecting the usual Indian fare and I was very excited to see the new Hakka menu. I ordered Lamb Hakka and it was amazing. The right amount of Chinese and Indian cooking.
