My friend and I enjoyed a long leisurely lunch and the soup salad and tea were great. Really like taking our time and having refills and especially appreciated the fresh breadsticks with each refill. They tasted very nice and not too salty as in the previous trip. Service was good also. Only complaint is cost of beverages is higher than... More
Went to Olive Garden off of Lag. and were pleasantly surprised. Haven't been to any Winnipeg Olive Garden Restaurants in years as I never liked them as everything use to be just buttery and garlicy. However I must say the menu here was large enough to satisfy everyone. The food was terrific and the service we received from Trinity was... More
This was our first trip to the Olive Garden since moving to Winnipeg. We attended with a large group, which might have been part of the problem. The services was slow but the wait staff was friendly, except the hostess who greeted us when we arrived. As hoped the salad and breadsticks were both tasty and an effort was made... More
We enjoy the food here and know that the service is also first class. It is a tradition to go there on New year's Eve. Arriving after 8 P.M. and there is no lineup. A special drink (Italian margarita) for my lady and a Grasshopper draft beer for myself. Their soup is to die for and I had two bowls... More
I went for lunch with 2 friends because they like Olive Garden and I agreed just to see them. I love Olive Garden in the US but have been very disappointed with the ones in Winnipeg. I had a lunch combo of salad and spaghetti and meat sauce for $10. Service was quick and pleasant. Portion of pasta was plenty... More
I am really not sure why people like this restaurant. I was with a large group for a graduation in June. I am gluten intolerant so I chose a steak as a safe choice. They always say do not get a steak at a place that isn't a steak restaurant. They are right. My steak was under cooked and the... More
There were seven of us (3 kids). We were sat right away with no waiting. The server was very pleasant and good with the kids. I found there was just too much cheese and not much other flavour to my dish. The soups and salads were good. The sauce with our grandsons mussels was scorched and added a not very... More
Soup, Salad & Breadsticks for $10.79 is the perfect lunch. Salad had lots of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, olives, onions, croutons and the dressing is light and tasty. Love the breadsticks, so fresh and delicious. Zuppa Toscana with potatoes & sausage is very delicious. Pasta e Fagioli is a great option as well.
The last few times I've been going there my chicken Parmesan has ALWAYS been rock hard to the point where everyone notices how awfully dry&overcooked the chicken was... Haven't been back since 😷😷 Always takes forever to get the food also.
