The chicken tacos are to die for. I've tried all of the others but chicken is still my favourite. Everything is made on site and is fresh and real food. They have Corona Light beer which is hard to find. My friend tried the soup...and thought it was just ok. Best tacos in the city in my view.More

Our relatives in Winnipeg recommended going here for a weekend lunch and we absolutely loved it. The tacos really pack a punch and taste incredible!! I brought my family for dinner as I had been once before for lunch. It too a while for everyone to figure out what they were having but once we did we got our food very quickly. Some felt their chicken or pork dishes were...a little dry but the beef was really good. It would be nice to have some sort of cabbage or something for a little bit of crunch. Otherwise it was tasty. Great place for lunch but if you have growing kids, buy extra tacos. Enjoy!More

Simply the best real Mexican tacos on winnipeg. No fancy menu, but delicious offerings. Eat in (there are a few tables) or take out. Lots of Mexican non-alcoholic drinks, plus a few Mexican beers like Modelo, Carona and Dos Equis. Such a great place and a wonderful addition to Henderson Highway. $5 for three tacos? You cant go wrong. We visit regularly and are always happy and satisfied. My only complaint is I find their restaurant a bit breezy in winter weather. Deffinately stop in!

Although this little restaurant doesn’t stand out much from the outside it is a culinary delight on the inside. Simple menu means fresh ingredients every time end a particular attention to excellence regarding flavour and quality. My wife and I have gone to this little...family run business multiple times and have been delighted with the service and quality of food as well as very affordable pricing. Although there isn’t table service, the ladies will most often bring out your order after you have sat down. Even when the restaurant was packed we still received our food in less than 10 minutes after ordering and you can see it being prepared as your order. When I saw this place, because it's called BMC Market, I thought it was a Mexican grocery store. When I finally went in, I was disappointed--because I thought it was a Mexican grocery store!--but when I tried the tacos, any disappointment I had flew right...out the window! The tacos are fresh and delicious, the hot sauce actually hot (as opposed a sauce that had a hot pepper dunked in it and then removed), and the corn tortillas amazing. Now that I've discovered it, I try to go every couple of weeks. My favourites are carnitas (pork with pineapple) and rajas (mushroom and peppers in cream sauce). They are served with fresh chopped onion and cilantro, a lime wedge to squeeze over them, and sauce of your choice. At $5/3 tacos, they're an incredible deal! I've had their avocado dip and chips, which was good, and their flan, which was very good--but I'd rather fill up with tacos! There's a small seating area that's quite attractive, with large photos from Mexico decorating the walls, but it's nothing super fancy. There are a few items you can buy--Mexican soda, enchilada sauce, and various hot sauces, but if you're looking for specialty items to prepare Mexican food at home, this wouldn't be the place to come. This is a small and busy lunch spot serving authentic yet simple Mexican cursine. The quesadillas are delicious and fresh tasting. They come with fa choice of sides and are very reasonably priced.
