Nice atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Mains Chicken Parm delicious but special Short Rib was tasteless, definitely forgot the horseradish sauce that was on menu.

Atmosphere versus food is a theme in Fredericton. This place has a “decent” atmosphere but the food is hit or miss. Most recent visit, I ordered the salmon which was over top of mushy vegetables. I’d rate it as “okay”. I recall a few months...back my wife and I went here for my birthday and I order the scallop risotto. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. For unknown reasons, they poured their weird “nana” sauce over the risotto and scallops….resulting in wet squishy scallops. It had to be a mistake honestly. It’s one of the few restaurants in Fredericton with a bit of an atmosphere so we go every so often hoping we’ve just been unlucky. Doesn’t seem that way unfortunately.More

I tend not to write many reviews, and if I do I try to focus on the positive but I didn't see any value in this meal. I ordered the appetizer version of the ravioli for take out. It was $20 for 4 ravioli. I...understand the hand made upcharge to a point but not only was my meal floating in oil but the ravioli were flat...not exactly what I would call stuffed full. I ate 2 out of the 4 and threw the rest out. I definitely would not recommend take out here.More

Excellent service and a delightful meal. Our server was pleasant, prompt and not intrusive while we dined. Delicious cheese to start with chef’s risotto and blue cheese gnocchi for our main courses.

On our recent trip to New Brunswick we had the pleasure of getting together with old friends that we had not seen in many years at MoCo Downtown. From the moment we open the front door we were welcomed into a beautiful, restored, historic building...by friendly and attentive staff. As we had so much catching up to do we were slow to look at the menus but we were given all the time we needed and attended to graciously. When we finally did get around to ordering, the food was served quickly & hot. We all highly recommend the Garlic Parm balls as an appetizer! The portions are large and everything was delicious! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Fredericton!!!More

It was my first time at MOCO. From walking in the door to leaving, it was a wonderful experience. Greeted by friendly, smiling staff who made us feel welcome. Our server was knowledgeable and patient. I had the salmon and MOCO salad, and my husband...had the chicken feta and beet salad. Both were amazing! Cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning.More

Visiting from out of town, MOCO looked a great place to go. Dress appears to be whatever, despite the photos. All of the food was excellent, and the portion sizes are perfect - not too large. A couple of suggestions: cloth napkins would have taken...it upon a notch, and lose the curtains separating the 2nd floor tables. They add nothing and seem a bit unnecessary. Also, if a menu item is unavailable, then say so when you give out the menu. We along with others we overheard wanted to order something that was sold out. That said, an excellent night out.More

This was our third time dining at Moco since we discovered it 3 years ago while in town on vacation. It certainly does not disappoint. The food is extremely well prepared and the service is tremendous. I appreciated that our waitress was frequently using hand...sanitizer between serving guests and provided pleasant, professional service. Moco is definitely worth checking out.More

Food and service was excellent. My 13 year old son is a vegetarian so it can be difficult finding decent meals. After his first bite of the Aglio E Olio his exact words were “wow, the spices and oil are perfect”. My wife and I...had similar reactions to the dishes we ordered. Highly recommend this spot.More

We took our daughter to Moco on Saturday night to celebrate her birthday and we weren't disappointed. My husband and I split the escargot and it was delicious. The bread and herbed oil were so good. I had the Alfredo and it was beautiful -...creamy, rich and excellent pasta. My husband had a ricotta stuffed pasta with brown butter - amazing. Our daughter had the classic spaghetti with the meatballs. She loved it and said the sauce was the best she's had. Dessert was a couple of Creme Brulees. There was too much sugar on top and it didn't have a nice crust to it. It was more like taffy and way to grainy. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of.More
