I was recently staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fredericton and must say that Hari Chapa at the Southside Shake is phenomenal. I visited the bar a few times, and Hari provided outstanding service: friendly, great conversation, excellent bartending skills. He even provided us a discount card at Maxwell’s restaurant even though it was in another hotel, and recommended the surf & turf - it was delicious! Many thanks to Hari for making our stay a much more memorable experience, and the main reason that I’ll definitely be returning there.

Great spot for drinks. Great service. Had goat cheese stuffed dates - there AMAZING! Tried popcorn on menu it was ok. Blueberry timbits were also very good.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal sitting of the protected patio. Food was great. I would recommend the poutine and soup. Delicious! The interior is updated and very comfort. Serve was great.

We had drinks and a very nice meal here. Hari mixed a couple of great cocktails. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The steak and the chicken club we had were delicious, and the steak perfectly cooked. We are definitely looking forward to another visit.

Really good find in Fredericton. Great tapas style and kids meal was great. Pretzel hot dog. Gnocchi. Haddock and wraps were very well prepared. Try the patio out front.

If you guys want best cocktail, this is the place! Their Head Mixologist knows what he is doing. They also have beautiful Tapas selection -(Tuna melt Twist) is best .

Beautiful , clean and stunning bar in the heart of downtown. Very cooperating and accommodating staffs,creative Mixologist with stunning cocktails, they probably have largest selection of spirts from cognac to Grappa and very impressive Gin selection (more than 30 ).
Went for business meeting and ended up being friends with all staff there .
I highly recommand this spot for every single occasion .

The atmosphere is clean-modern-cozy. Like a 1980s Absolute Vodka ad, but with gin. Lots of gin.
The bar is well-stocked with gin, including a local gin (Fils du Roi).
The drinks menu is heavy on the gin drinks. If you like gin or you like it mixed with other things, and then garnished with cleverly shaped tasty things, this is your new favorite place for drinkies.
The bartender is a professional and will make things off-menu. Things that don't involve gin. They use really good cherries and other high quality bar stock. A rather tasty mango-based drink was procured, as well as the house interpretation of a screwdriver.
Apparently, the drinks menu was developed by a Vancouver "mixologist". He did well. These are good drinks, but with stupid names. (I assume someone from corporate did the naming, because the names are just so banal and lazy, betraying an utter contempt for local culture.)
Top-notch bartender/ manager running the place on the quiet holiday afternoon we visited. Was also very attentive to a kid who was staying at the hotel and enjoying the kid version of the adult drinks menu.
Pricy, but a fun treat out with friends.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Comprehensive bar with excellent gin selection and a wide variety of other spirits. Professional bar tender who actually knows how to mix drinks. The food selection is limited but what they have is thoughtfully designed. We found it tasty and nicely presented. Thank you for being open on a Sunday night; not many choices in Fredericton on a Sunday night. Overall a fresh and welcome addition. We will be back.
