My son and his wife took myself and her Mom out on Friday night for a belated Mother's Day Dinner at 6 pm. We had the grandchildren who are 3 years and 1 and a half and didn't realize that they are too young to...be contented to sit in a restaurant so we ended up getting our meals packed up to go. OUr server was the sweetest and so great and she accomodated us and got the kids meals right away and got coloring books for them. Our food was excellent even though we had to take it out and we apologized to our server for the kids not being able to sit still and she was so sympathetic and so understanding.. We will definitely be back (minus little ones lol) and give your restaurant a definite 5!More

We have started to dine out indoors again during this hopefully waning pandemic. We have been to a few restaurants lately which have been generally OK but found their steaks tough and overpriced. Steak at the Palate has always been good, so when we went...to the Palate for a Valentines Day dinner I was looking forward to having their steak again. Our server Craig was pleasant and efficient and things moved along at pleasant pace. The menu had a few changes since our last visit. We shared a tasty Thai salad and my wife had the Korean fried chicken which was unique and enjoyable. I had the strip loin with Cajun butter on a bed of mashed potatoes, along with onions, mushrooms and fire roasted red pepper, asparagus and zucchini. It was delicious and as good as I’ve had anywhere. The wine list is short but adequate and not overpriced. The dessert menu was temptIng but we were already quite full and opted for coffee. It was a very pleasant dining experience and it is highly recommended.More

The lamb shank was very tough and you had to truly battle to get it off of the bone. The flavours were good but I have had lamb shanks many times but never dry and tough like this one was for a premium price!!

We arrived on a rainy Saturday without reservations and were initially seated at the bar but were soon transferred to a table when one became available. Good selection of craft beers. Superb seafood chowder. Friendly attentive staff. Excellent customizable stir-fry bowl.
