Isaac's Way never disappoints. It is my go to spot whenever I'm dining in town. The staff is excellent. The food is unique and always pleasing to the tastebuds. I always like to see what's new on the menu. All around yum!

Excellent service. Probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had here. Have eaten here many times before and have had great meals, so this was surprising. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip with GF option. Got served horrible toasted hamburger buns for bread, accompanied by...BROWN celery 🤢 and carrots well-past their expiry date. Menu stated home-cut fries, but they were pre-cut frozen fries. Ordered hamburger with roasted red peppers, no bun. It was served over a bed of wilted, well-beyond prime lettuce and the red peppers were not roasted - more like a jam from a jar. Again, service was fantastic and the poor-quality of the food is not representative of our previous experiences.More

I don't know how many great restaurants there in Fredericton, NB, but I do know there's one. The cooking was innovative and deliciously consumable in the eating. The service was both efficient and everything about your Canadian nice.

This restaurant is very convenient to 2 hotels and a playhouse in Fredericton. WE had a chickpea crunch sandwich and shares fries and Moroccan soup. Everything was very good, especially the soup. Very good decor, prices, and service.

Excellent service, very kind wait staff and decent food. Its close proximity to the water is a nice feature. There is a paid parking lot that charges about $1.50 a half hour.

One of the few restaurants open for dinner on Monday. We started with veggie samosas, but thought the accompanying sauce was lacking something. Ribs were "different", since the sauce contained molasses. The dish was supposed to be served with baked beans, but instead came with...baked potato (and no explanation why no baked beans). Pork tenderloin was a large portion of sliced pork, but did not have nearly enough apple butter BBQ sauce. Veggies and potatoes were good. Extra $2.00 charge for sour cream was not mentioned when were asked if we wanted sour cream for potatoes. Service was not attentive at all.More

On a Sunday night, this was about the only thing open downtown! It’s across from the Hilton Garden Inn and only a few blocks from the Garrison historic site. Tara is a terrific server. Very attentive and pleasant! Sweet potato fries are tasty, and the...Caesar spinach salad was just right.More

I arranged for our University classmates in nursing to go here for lunch. There were 20 of us and the restaurant gave us a private dining room. The building used to be the old Courthouse and Jail so we were in the vault! It was...so good. The food was excellent . Staff was excellent. Location is the best. Be sure to go next door to see the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. I am not an art lover but this gallery was magnificent. Arrange to have a tour to get the full benefit of it. I cannot wait to get back to Fredericton and to Isaac's Way.More

As frequent visitors to Fredericton we have passed Isaac's restaurant several times but have never been in, so tonight we took the plunge.. The ambience is fine for what Isaac's purports to be. However, the food was average, the service was average and the wine...list is sub-par. The wait staff is all very friendly, however, they use infantile language when speaking with customers, for example using "we" all the time as in "Do we need the machine brought down here?"; "Do we have any plans for tonight?" How about "Do you need the machine to pay" or "Are you doing anything special after dinner"? Don't talk to us like children or old people. And the biggest fail - if you are a restaurant with table service and a wine list, then you need cloth napkins. Paper napkins - no thanks. Would we visit again - a big maybe next year.More

If you're Homer Simpson maybe you'll like this greasy coronary disaster. Otherwise ... the lamb rolls were dripping in deep fried grease, the squash meal filo pastry was like glue, and the chef's recommended favourite, pork tenderloin, was dry and bland, as were the side...veggies. To be fair, the atmosphere was really good, and so was the service, and the art for sale is a nice touch... but the food ... I'd feel better afterwards if I had eaten a brick.More

We have always enjoyed eating here before a show, but tonight was a big disappointment. The maple salmon was over-baked and very dry and the vegetables which are usually quite tasty were without flavour. The samosas were also flavourless and quite salty. We ended up...not eating much of them and let the waiter know our thoughts when he asked. They offered us free desserts, a nice gesture however the dinner took so long to come that we had to take them to go. We spent 1.5 hours there and about 45 minutes between the appetizer and main. The waiter apologized for this and let us know the kitchen was overrun but the place was almost empty, at least in the main area at the back where we were sitting. The woman working the door and who took us to our seats was rude and dismissive when I asked about sitting near a window, saying "I don't have any". I went to speak with her a second time to suggest that in fact there were many empty tables near windows that were not reserved. She was not happy about this and asked why I would want to sit at the small table near a window when I could have the big booth. Very weird experience after so many positive dinners - perhaps there is new management?More

From the outside, you might not be sure this is the place to eat. Step inside and immediately you are sure you made a good decision to eat here. The menu is extensive, flavorful, and creative. The GF menu clearly shows what is good for...celiacs to eat. I had the curry lamb burger and it was superb. So don't be fooled by the exterior appearance, this is definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner.More
