The menu sounds delish but when the food came was a disappointment Dulce salt on fries all fluff no flavor...Fish was the cheapest cut imaginable but price not reflected in what the customer cost ..they do have some interesting ideas just have to make them more cost effective and done better. Will say loved the art work on walls and overall décor and the service was good despite the limitations.

Best burger ever ! Sweet potato fries were so good too, piping hot and crisp.
I had the lamb burger. It was topped with roasted red peppers, a chutney, goat cheese and spinach leaves , so juicy. Will definitely will go back for this next time I am in the area. Also many others things I'd like to try. Appreciate that there are dairy free items on the menu and gluten free for my dining partner !
I had the dairy free /gluten free apple crisp for dessert. It was ok and while we both appreciated that there was this option, the dessert could have had some more texture and flavor in the topping (maybe some toasted coconut or slivered almonds) Dessert portion was HUGE ! Could have shared one serving easily

We both had the Toasted Chicken Parmesan Wrap, today’s special, and opted for fries as the side. It was delicious. Our table on the patio was shady, comfortable, and well-spaced from the next guests. The service was good. Staff wore face masks and sanitized the credit card machine just before handing it to me.

It had been awhile since we had been here and after our experience today we will never go back. We used to go pretty regularly. Today the restaurant was freezing (not their fault they had a heat pump issue) . We ordered wine which was not served before our meal. The salad was terrible. Limp and tasteless. My husband ordered a steak medium which was a thin piece of well done something. As he is on a keto diet he asked for no potato and the waiter kindly offered extra veg. But the potato came anyway. The tofu carbonara was under a heat lamp for some period of time and was dry and awful. Used to love this place so we are disappointed. Very nice waiter so we did not want to complain. Never going back.

I've been here multiple times in the last few years.
The first time was unbelievable the food was so great.
Last summer my spouse and I at there it was good but didn't come close to my first couple of meals from here.
Tonight we went and started with the scallop fritters they were raw on the inside and very bland the dill spread that came with it was just as bad.
I had the Seafood linguine it was a watery sauce and all the Seafood tasted like it had been in the freezer for months. My spouse had the jalapeno cod, this tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for 5 days.

It was one of the rare open restaurants in town! A local highly recommended it. We waited 1/2 an hour for our table. And if that was it, it would have been fine. Once seated, we waited 1.5 hours for a meal that never arrived!!!! Most of us had ordered salads. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. At first seeing that we were getting impatient the waitress offered sweet potatoes and told us it would be 7 min more. Outright lie cause 20 min in we got up and left!!! As we were paying for the wine the guy wanted to make us pay for the whole meal that was still not ready!!! Then after we stepped out the door, in an act of despair the waitress came running to tell us it was ready and would give to us free to go! We refused seeing we did not believe her anymore, it had not been a minute since the guy told us it was not ready yet.

One of the few restaurants open for dinner on Monday. We started with veggie samosas, but thought the accompanying sauce was lacking something. Ribs were "different", since the sauce contained molasses. The dish was supposed to be served with baked beans, but instead came with baked potato (and no explanation why no baked beans). Pork tenderloin was a large portion of sliced pork, but did not have nearly enough apple butter BBQ sauce. Veggies and potatoes were good. Extra $2.00 charge for sour cream was not mentioned when were asked if we wanted sour cream for potatoes. Service was not attentive at all.

The artwork was interesting. There was a silent exhibition/sale.
We had the fishcakes and roasted potatoes. The small carrot salad side was the best part. The fishcakes were mushy in the center as if they weren't cooked or defrosted enough. The roasted potatoes were good. The coffee was just warm, not hot. The waiter didn't offer any dessert selections.
We both decided we would not return.

We had a dinner for our family once it arrived…it took over 45 minutes for a kids pasta and one pasta dish my husband and I shared. Drinks were allowed to go dry and we were bot asked for another round. Food was tasty when it got to us but not hot. Provided activity for the kiddo and the location was great.

This restaurant has become our new ‘go to’ place for dinner when our travels take us to Fredericton. Our meals were well prepared with fresh ingredients. Good flavour and healthy menu options. It has a pleasant ambience with easy parking adjacent to the restaurant. Very good value for the money.

The west side parking apparently is city owned and metered space during the day. The parking area looked as if it belonged to the restaurant as their back patio extends outwards also from the building's west side. We never noticed the parking meters and were stung with a $25 ticket after our mediocre meal.
The photo of the restaurant above shows a parking area where we parked.

We were very excited to experiece this restaurant as it had raving reviews. We even went and vetted it, and had a little looksee inside. Its a very nice restaurant with great community artwork on the walls, spacious and clean. We decided to go back later that evening for dinner, as we had on a previous visit, said we'd go the next time we were in Fredericton. So we went.
I ordered the Ribs, my husband ordered the Salmon Cakes.
My order came and the ribs were dry and chewy, but with a delicious bbq sauce! I'll give'm that! My baked potato, skin was really hard and crusty, baked twice?? Oh no! Baked three times at least! Came relatively plain with a dash of green onion on it. I had to ask for butter to be brought to me for my potato, as their was no effort offered of sour cream or butter when my plate was served to me.
My husbands order of Salmon Cakes which were shaped like a doughnut and a plop of tartar sauce in the middle of it, so not a solid round Salmon Cake, and it was soft and soggy (I took a bite). It came with overdone Potato Wedges that looked like chicken wings. To me it looked like they had not changed the Fryer Grease in a long time, for the Potato Wedges to come out that dark. (I know, being in the biz), and of course his also had the room temp slaw.
The ambiance of the restaurant, like I said was nice, but was very, very loud, with a group of people in a somewhat private room, the chatter echoed ou to our table, don't sit outside that little private space, not to mention a loud boom box deep base coming from above, through the ceiling (Bad neighbors, over the restaurant).
Service was good, nothing spectaular...the fact that I had to ask for butter for a baked potato, was bad, it should have been a given. Attention to detail matters. QUESTION IS: Would we go back?
Enticing as the menu sounds, NO we would not go back again.

I felt strongly to communicate that my families dining experience was absolutely amazing!
The food is exceptional, hand made with love, a tasteful delight – so refreshing compared to the Boston pizza, Moxies of the world.
Real food prepared exceptionally good.
My drink was a taste buds dream – and the atmosphere – relaxing, trendy, very very enjoyable.
To top it all off our server, was over the top informative, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant – a rarity in todays dinning world
The menu -very very affordable for such high end culinary exquisite taste
My children loved it - quote “the best food they have had in a long time”.
The potato wedges are out of this world.
Upon my journey home to Moncton later in the evening– I stopped into Sussex to visit friends and spoke of my restaurant experience and one of my closest friends who is a food connoisseur planned to stop in today for a meal as he and his wife visited your webpage.
A true dinning gem in the Fredericton area - highly recommend!

We have visited Isaac’s way several times since my last review and I feel it gets a little better each time. The main reason for our visit this time is their outdoor shaded patio on a hot evening. The menu has good choices and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I had the soup of the day, which was squash and apple and it was very good. We both had the fish cakes which were also good. The wines by the glass are expensive for a 5 ounce glass. They offered nice desserts but we opted out as a friend had just given us a coconut cream pie!

Always love Isaac's Way but since Covid, we have been using take-out rather than dine in. Tonight's meal was simply delicious - Chicken Penne Pasta. Highly recommended, generous amount of chicken, lots of peppers, spinich, pasta and the sauce is to die for. Will be back for more.
