You gotta eat here!

We were there on a cold blustery Saturday in march at lunchtime. We enjoyed one of the round booths, our server was very attentive and friendly, we ordered the " croque monsieur" and " the burger that ate moncton", both were delicious, surpassed our expectations, the poutine was yummy too. Prices were very reasonable, would definitely recommend

Great Pub

This was our second visit. Great atmosphere, service and food. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and my hubby had the pulled pork nachos. Our waitress forgot to put my order in but was so apologetic and she put a rush on it...I only wanted maybe 5 more minutes for it (gotta love wood fired pizza). My pizza was very good. Lots of mozzarella and decent toppings considering it was a 9inch. Perfect amount for one person or a little sharing (if you arent too hungry lol). My hubby's nachos were fully loaded with pulled pork with a ton of jalapenos which he ordered extra on. The sauce was the perfect amount and I love that you could taste the smoke flavour even on a plain nacho (if you found one lol). Love the selection of maritime sauces brought to the table to choose from. In the end our waitress took my beer off the tab (not necessary as we weren't unsatisfied but a very nice gesture). We will definitely be back.

Wood-fired wonderfulness

3 of us stopped in for lunch. App was the bruschetta, which was a perfect fresh loaf topped with perfectly seasoned tomatoes. We then each ordered a different pizza (pepperoni, meat lovers and BBQ Chicken) and shared slices. All were delicious. The crust was thin, but not overcooked; crispy on bottom and soft on top. Toppings were generous as well. And don’t forget the beers!

Didn't love it

Greasy. Not good service, they replaced the fries twice, the turkey for club house was not real it was sliced. They never offered to comp for the fries Seemed they were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in town for the concert that weekend. Would not go back . Might have been just an off night for them though not sure.

Poor kitchen Management

I was out for a ride and decided to stop by the Pump house in Shediac. I arrived shortly before 7pm and sat on the Patio. My server was attentive and took my order which was a simple chicken Sandwich. Although it was trivia night, i watched as tables who were seated after me re received their food. Server was very apologetic about the delay from the kitchen. Over an hour later i asked for the manager and was advised they had left for the day. Eventually the bar manager came by and apologized as well. I explained my disappointment and that as an airbnb operator in the community i couldn’t recommend the location to my customers as this wasn’t the first negative experience with kitchen delays. Although they comped my meal which I appreciated the location need to do better with expediting food from the kitchen.

First up were the drinks, no problem there. We waited a long time before our food order was taken, ordered appetizers - wings and spinach dip, again a long wait to get our food. The wings were just ok, the dip was not good, a dip with soft bread which you could not dip or scoop - not a good thing! We would have ordered more but left, unsatisfied!

Classic Moncton Location

We visited early on a Friday evening, just before the rush. Excellent service, busy active atmosphere- it felt like a pub should feel on a Friday. We purchased a stout and a red ale, both excellent. Our table ordered the Shroom Burger, the Messy Poutine and the Pulled Pork sandwich. It was all excellent. Buns were soft, pulled pork flavourful (also on the poutine), mushrooms cooked just right. Definitely recommend.

Something for Everyone

Must try their homemade rootbeer, not too sweet just delicious. Two in the group had the pizza and quite enjoyed it. I had the fire starter chicken, it was delicious. Fun casual atmosphere located just off of Main Street. Walking distance to a few hotels.

Good food, good beer, what else do you need!

Lots of pubs to choose from, but we selected this one. I had 5he pump house salad as a start which had a good selection of different salad stuff. For the main, I went with the Hawaiian Pizza and it was also to my liking and I asked for extra sauce and crispy and it tasted great. My wife had the eggplant dish which she enjoyed very much. She is very fussy about her eggplant and this one ranked in the top of her eggplant experience. We will go back on our next trip through YQM.

A Moncton fixture...great beer and good food

Lively spot a long time on the Moncton craft brew scene. Very tasty beers (would I drink anything else?)..their special being a blueberry infused lager (a bit sweet for my taste). Lovely outdoor patio for those summer and early fall days. Extensive food menu pizza being highlighted. Very friendly staff (Pierre to note) and all in all a great experience. Situated on a small alley way just off Main street..close to the main tourist hotels.(Downtown Moncton parking is a bit limited and expensive so look around or leave your car at the hotel)

It's not beer...

Chose for the good reviews and were disappointed. Beers were an odd combination of juices mixed with beer and given cute names. The "Beers" didn't cut it, especially if you're expecting true craft beers. Not really beer...not sure what to call them...pizza was meh. Caesar salad good but nothing special.

A nice place to enjoy food, drinks and decorations

At first I should say neither food nor beers are not exceptional, but the combination is perfect. In Moncton’s downtown, an old brewery with nice interior design, is waiting you to make good memories in. They have nice handmade pizzas and generally the portions are big. Their beer are fair but not in my top 10. The staff are very professional, friendly and the service is in my top 10 for sure. Thanks to Marty for making our day. For sure I’ll go back one day.

Worth a visit for the blueberry beer

What a great find. The staff were helpful and friendly. I asked for a recommendation on the beer, staff member pointed me towards a blueberry IPA , which actually has blueberries in it, a really good drink. We had nachos, chicken salad and a steak. All cooked very nicely, and not too expensive.

Donair deep with pizza?

I first stepped in to order some nachos, but they said nachos won't travel well, so they wouldn't sell it to go. I understand. We came back next night for dine-in pizza and we had an amazing time. Their brand beer, made in house, was very good, and we were happy to find it also in touristic attractions all across NB. I never tried Pizza with donair sauce, but to the waiter it seems to be an obvious deep. What can I say? I loved it. I gotta find a place in Toronto that does that too! 😂
