We visited early on a Friday evening, just before the rush. Excellent service, busy active atmosphere- it felt like a pub should feel on a Friday. We purchased a stout and a red ale, both excellent. Our table ordered the Shroom Burger, the Messy Poutine...and the Pulled Pork sandwich. It was all excellent. Buns were soft, pulled pork flavourful (also on the poutine), mushrooms cooked just right. Definitely recommend.More
My wife and I ate there last night. I had a shroom burger which was very good and with real fries. My wife ordered a greek pizza ( it came a little burnt around the edges ). No problem, take it back and make her...another one that was cooked perfect. She really enjoyed the pizza. Had a couple of the scotch beers ( smoky flavour and delicious ) . I have to say our server Sadie was excellent… The place does get very busy and is quite loud, but will definitely be back.More
Pizzas are much smaller now. They also have much less filling. I will no longer order there. It was great many years ago but they have lost the touch at least on Pizzas.
Stopped here for lunch as we had gone to the Shediac location for a pint. One of the best pizza's I've had, and BEER Bread is a must try.
I went with 2 elderly friends for dinner tonight. Not impressed at all. We waited for a table, which was expected. 10 minutes in, the host asked if we'd mind letting a group of 3 go ahead of us, because they were friends with one...of the waitresses. Are you kidding me???? We got to our seats to find we were offered a booth, its very difficult to seat mobility challenged seniors, but we were tired of waiting and took it anyway. The 3 drinks I wanted to order were not available. The waitress didnt take our order correctly, my entree was missed altogether. We ordered an appetizer to share. Sounded good: Veggie starter with beer bread, tziki, bruschetta, and hummus. Not what arrived: nacho chips, no bruschetta-instesd was a piece of wilted lettuce covered by a slice of tomato. We had to ask for the beer bread, which she brought later. One friend had fish and chips, it was a huge plate of dripping grease blobs. The paper lining the plate was soaked. Home fries were undercooked and wilty. The wood fired chicken bbq pizza was good, bigger than was expected. My order of nachos (the one she forgot) was finally delivered, by then my friends were mostly done eating. $15 for 22 chips, 16 of which actually had cheese on them. There were 4 dime sized pieces of tomato and a sprinkle of chives on top. Ceasar drink was great, and they had all their new radler options, my friend said her blood orange and peach radler was good. Upon paying, we had one last issue before we got out the door, while gathering our plates the waitress dropped a fork which jabbed my leg. A trip to the washroom indicated the last check up (they initial a sheet) had been done 3 and a half hours before. It was relatively clean, but one soap dispenser was hanging down off the wall. Our verdict: won't be back this year, but might try it one more time next summer. Hopefully all the kinks will be worked out by then.More
Hands down some of the best service and food we had during our vacation in the Maritimes. Staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived at the restaurant even though it was relatively busy. Martin(Marty) our server was fantastic. Food was delicious and...portion sizing was excellent. Each of us commented on how much we enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Will be back if we find ourselves in the area again in the future. Thanks!More
We shared a flight of radlers and had a delicious meal here. Loved the atmosphere, everyone was really welcoming. Service was great, food came quickly which was awesome because we were starving. Would definitely recommend!
First up were the drinks, no problem there. We waited a long time before our food order was taken, ordered appetizers - wings and spinach dip, again a long wait to get our food. The wings were just ok, the dip was not good, a...dip with soft bread which you could not dip or scoop - not a good thing! We would have ordered more but left, unsatisfied!More
Sat at the bar and talked beer with the bartender. The house stout was amazing; some complex flavors not found often - very good. The burger was OK, but overcooked. Very nice, and generous, salad. But for the too-well-done burger this would be rated 5
Two Vegans and Two Carnivores had zero issues with getting food to eat :) Staff were great and the house beer selection was pretty good. A must when in Moncton.
This Restaurant Brew Pub has been around for 22 years. Within walking distance easily of all major downtown hotels. Has a patio outside as well as tables and booths inside. Very Busy for a Tuesday Afternoon. Has Domestic Beer as well as Wine , Spirits...and of course their Own BEER. Varied Food Menu. The Thin Crust Pizza from Wood Fired Oven was fantastic. Our Waitress was LINDSEY Server # 37. She offered excellent service and suggestions. If in Moncton would go Back or Suggest it To Others.More
They had a great selection of food. I had the veggie sampler and my bf had the wings. Both were really good! Wasn’t expensive and our server Heather was great! 10/10.
Excellent from start to finish…..our server was excellent, he made suggestions for drinks and dinner. Tried 3 of their in-house pints and they were all tasty - suggest the 4-Alarm if you like hoppy IPA’s. We bought extras pints to go. We shared the Beer...Steamed Mussels - which came with beer bread and both tasty, a large portion of mussels! Then we shared the pulled pork nachos - enjoyed the BBQ sauce on them. Great atmosphere - fast service and very reasonable prices! CheersMore
Four adults plus a dog. Wonderful food and service. The waitress Adele was beyond good, filled gigs water dish twice, offered us water when waiting in line
