Great food and a portion of price goung to help the community. Lily's has an Great location on the lake. The menu has a good selection. We had a Pesto chicken panini and the Scallop Trio. Good able service and an excellent chef. Try to...stop in if you're in the area.More
Lovely location, make sure you leave time to stroll around the lake before or after eating. Interesting menu, generally good food, reasonable prices
Good spot for casual dining and they have a lovely patio overlooking the lake. Portions are big. I had a wonderful beet and warm goat cheese salad. My husband had a scallop platter with differently cooked scallops. He got 9 scallops, lots of mashed potatoes...and lots of vegetable. I got 2 deep-fried goat cheese balls the size of his scallops. Only 2 balls was not an oversight (I asked). I asked for a bun to accompany the meal. I got HALF a focaccia bun. That seemed odd. It cost $2.50 - but that's what they do (I asked). All in all a good experience but just be aware of what comes with the beet salad for $19.99More
Eating on the outdoor deck, directly on the lake, was beautiful on the dramatic-sky day we were there. The food was nice, but be forewarned that the seafood salad only contains two of each item listed (two scallops, two shrimp, a bit of lobster). That...said -- it was a nice salad!More
Great atmosphere sitting on the patio over the lake. Any type of drinks you want. Seafood chowder was the best tasting I have ever had. Starter Caesar salad was fresh and perfect starter size. Seafood pasta was very good with a hearty portion and variation...of sea. Sirloin tip bites was very tender and glazed had fantastic flavour. Server was Jamie who got very busy just prior to us sitting down so kitchen was a bit swamped which meant we waited a few extra minutes for our meals. Jamie is very bubbly with a huge smile. She was very thorough and acknowledged us regularly. Other servers were also friendly and quick to help and some will even serenade you. A fantastic dining experience highly recommended.More
We would rate this place good, or 3.5 stars. Awesome patio over the lake and pretty good service. Pineapple margarita is a pass - salt and pineapple juice do not match, but the local beer was good. Shared the bacon goat cheese flatbread and it...was tasty! My coconut haddock was fine - could have used a different sauce to offset the sweetness of the coconut. Accompanying veggies were badly overcooked. Hubby had the stuffed salmon special, cream cheese and other seafood, and he really liked it. Same overcooked veggies. Our other guest had scallops three-ways and loved it! We passed on dessert. It was a nice evening in a lovely setting, which included our well behaved dog, which is much appreciated! Go for a walk or drive around the park while you’re there. It was fun to watch locals swimming laps and paddle boarding across/around the lake. Worth going for the patio, but we’ll probably try another restaurant the next time we’re in town.More
This spot is suitable for a family dinner after a day at the lake or a romantic dinner on the patio watching the sunset.
First, if you can plan ahead, make a reservation. This place was packed at lunchtime. Weather was foggy and drizzly, so no outdoor dining. They wouldn't take our name so could walk around; we had to stay at the entrance to the restaurant to save...our place. That said, once we were seated, service was friendly and quick. Fish & chips is the meal to order. Several pieces of fish, perfectly cooked. But we found the batter a bit thick and the chips not crisp enough for our liking. On an unfoggy day the view of the lake would be really pretty. First time tasting Rickards Red, it became the beer of choice the rest of our stay in New Brunswick.More
Great spot for a meal. We sat outside with a beautiful spot looking at the lake. Menu very large with many choices. Food good. Service good as well.
The only seating area available was horrendous. You have to sit sideways or continually crack your elbow on these off wall pieces that stick out and constantly duck and move because the seats are directly in the servers path. Outside seats to enjoy the view...they boast is hoarded by people sitting and just drinking beer.More
Called ahead to order take-out and the food was ready at the time we requested it. The service was decent from interactions with the front desk host. The fajita chicken salad had delicious grilled chicken and veggies on top of a bed of lettuce. The...meal came with a small container of delicious guacamole and also a dressing. Two issues with this meal: there were pieces of lettuce at the bottom of the salad with obvious dirt in them meaning they weren't washed properly and the dressing tasted strongly of vinegar - did not use it on the salad. The other meal was seafood fettuccine which was good. It came with some mussels, shrimp, scallops and a small lobster claw as well as a cream sauce that was not too thick or heavy. *Note: I called the restaurant to inform them of the unwashed lettuce and they offered a new salad or something else off the menu.More
A lovely spot to sit and enjoy a fantastic seafood linguine after a long travel day! Accommodated us on short notice and service was excellent!
Having a good server is the best. We were lucky to get Dianne with 2 Ns I devoured the soup and my spouse did the same with the club sandwich. Highly recommend.
Not impressed, over priced and underwhelmed. I had the bowl of "World Famous seafood chowder. Best part was the tea biscuit. Mussels in the shell, hard to eat in a chowder, mostly broth, no potatoes or vegetables. Seafood linguini was bland, no seasoning, seafood was...rubbery & hardly any sauce. My wife had the Chicken parm, with marina sauce. Chicken was overdone, very crusty. No sauce on the chicken & hardly any on the pasta. Chocolate cake for dessert, dry and not very chocolatley. This was an$85 dollar meal, before tax and tip, certainly not a meal worthy of the cost. On a good note, our server was the best, jovial, helpful and looked after us wonderfully. Opinion, probably would not go back, better and better prices in many places in the city.More
