I contacted Lily's about hosting a very small (4-person) bridal brunch back before Covid restrictions had loosened. Even though it was small, I still wanted it to feel special, more than just a breakfast. Shyla was very helpful with my questions about arrangements beforehand, such as ensuring I would have a table by the window, answering my questions about balloons, and arranging to have mimosas delivered automatically when we arrived. It all went like clock work. The server was very attentive and the meal was delicious. Although the view wasn't spectacular because it was a foggy, drizzly day, the atmosphere was still lovely... warm and inviting. All four of us enjoyed it immensely. Thank you, Lily's!

Celebrating my sisters birthday at lunch time and I forgot to make a reservation(my bad). However, manager Tony found us seated in a timely fashion and I saved face. Our very busy waiter Sarah took exceptional care of us with a smile and ease. To top off the meal for her birthday they offered a complimentary ice cream crêpe with a sumptuous raspberry sauce large enough to share. We make this our go to lunch spot often and they never disappoint !!!

After a lengthy stay at Hopewell Rocks and easily the most-fun drive of my life, through Fundy National Park and the coast to Saint John, we looked for a restaurant to just take a load off and enjoy; Lily's was one of the first that popped up and we're so happy we went.
We were seated and our excellent server was prompt with everything; unusually, my wife and I ordered the same thing, blackened Haddock Tacos with mango, with a side Caesar Salad (for my wife) and Wild Rice (for me). The tacos were beyond delicious and a treat for the eyes as well; aside from the mango, they were almost identical to the haddock tacos I make at home. My rice had a lot of non-wild rice in it, but it was excellent as well, so no complaints.
We usually never get dessert, as it's a bit pricey and we're usually full, but the pastry chef at Lily's is someone from Quebec, trained in French Confectionary, thus my wife ordered a Chocolate Mousse Cake and I got a Rhubarb Cheesecake, with a Strawberry Coulis. Man, what an absolute treat for the senses, so tart, so sweet, everything blended perfectly.
With a great view overlooking Lily Lake, it was a wonderful meal indeed.

Pre-pandemic, loved this place especially during summer for outdoor dining, they allow dogs on patio
We used to eat breakfast here often after walking around the lake. This was our first visit since COVID and it was not as good 😞
Frittata was very underwhelming, it used to have better fillings, now it’s just scrambled eggs with basic fillings. Will not order it again and the price seems high for what you get. They also forgot to serve it with home fries so I had to wait until I was almost finished before they were brought out
Steak was very dry, should not have asked for well done, it was like leather. Will try this again and ask for medium-rare. It used to be a favourite
Eggs Benedict looked good based on table next door so will try that next time
Coffee was great as usual
Server was friendly and brought water for our dog. The food was delivered timely as well.
We will definitely give this another try and hope that this visit is not the new norm otherwise one of our favourite breakfast places will become an absolute no go.

f you care about your safety during covid you should avoid this restaurant because they sure don’t care about it! When I called to make reservations a day ahead I was told that they only have TWO vaccinated servers and when we showed up the next day we were met with a belligerent unmasked young man I assume was the manager. I asked for one of the two servers and was told that one was not working and that the other had no available tables. When I said we would go elsewhere a table suddenly opened up. The food itself was mediocre; a bland Hawaiian burger that had a dollop of watery crushed pineapple instead of the traditional grilled ring, a soggy bottom bun and an over toasted top bun.
In a day and age where most restaurants are grateful for customers and where many are happy to check with the server they are going to seat you with or, even better, proudly inform you that the entire staff is vaxxed, it is appalling that at Lily’s they couldn’t even grasp the idea that customers might be concerned. The only saving grace of the visit was our server who was lovely and who quietly thanked us for deciding to stay after our ‘introduction” (the one star service rating does not reflect on her). I have been a customer at Lily’s for years, even wrote a glowing review once and nominated that server for an award but after this latest slap-in-the-face I will never return!

We were very underwhelmed by our Sunday brunch experience. The menu lacks anything out of the ordinary, the skillet was bland and fairly tasteless, saved only by dumping the barely warm serving of beans over the top. My wife asked for a dairy free option, but had the cheese AND aioli left out of her wrap, when she asked for the aioli on the side (as it's a non dairy product) it seemed like an issue and we could overhear the staff talking about it later.

We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner, and it was a great choice. The nachos were delicious (and a huge portion too). My pepper beef hot sandwich was tasty, lots of meat and the peppercorns gave it an extra zip. My wife ordered the maple curry chicken pasta, which looked great and had a ton of chicken in it. Add a couple of glasses of wine and a piece of German chocolate cake for desert and you have yourself a nice supper out. The cafe was set up nicely during the COVID pandemic, tables were spaced apart just how they needed to be. Our server, Jeff, was excellent!!! He has a great personality and answered all our questions. The only knock on the experience was that our mains came out shortly after our appetizer, it made us rush trying to eat our food while it was still hot. Overall we had a great supper out.

We spent $80 without drinks.
The lobster roll was really small and the other plate with tips of steak (the waitress said plates had a great variety of veggies) came with carrots and broccoli...
Not worth the price.

Great atmosphere sitting on the patio over the lake. Any type of drinks you want. Seafood chowder was the best tasting I have ever had. Starter Caesar salad was fresh and perfect starter size. Seafood pasta was very good with a hearty portion and variation of sea. Sirloin tip bites was very tender and glazed had fantastic flavour.
Server was Jamie who got very busy just prior to us sitting down so kitchen was a bit swamped which meant we waited a few extra minutes for our meals. Jamie is very bubbly with a huge smile. She was very thorough and acknowledged us regularly. Other servers were also friendly and quick to help and some will even serenade you.
A fantastic dining experience highly recommended.

This place was recommended to us by a person working at the visitor center. We had nice drinks and seafood on a warm evening on the water. Our server was great. This restaurant is owned by the local government and the money earned goes to helping the community. Great concept.

A delightful waterside restaurant. A broad menus with both excellent seafood and meat offerings. It also has a unique and flavorful local specialty, Canadian poutine. What was a comfortable four out of five rating as elevated by our actress, Melissa. She was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. She genuinely made us feel that she enjoyed serving us. A very special young women who helped her restaurant get me top rating.

We would rate this place good, or 3.5 stars. Awesome patio over the lake and pretty good service. Pineapple margarita is a pass - salt and pineapple juice do not match, but the local beer was good. Shared the bacon goat cheese flatbread and it was tasty!
My coconut haddock was fine - could have used a different sauce to offset the sweetness of the coconut. Accompanying veggies were badly overcooked. Hubby had the stuffed salmon special, cream cheese and other seafood, and he really liked it. Same overcooked veggies. Our other guest had scallops three-ways and loved it! We passed on dessert.
It was a nice evening in a lovely setting, which included our well behaved dog, which is much appreciated! Go for a walk or drive around the park while you’re there. It was fun to watch locals swimming laps and paddle boarding across/around the lake. Worth going for the patio, but we’ll probably try another restaurant the next time we’re in town.

Called ahead to order take-out and the food was ready at the time we requested it. The service was decent from interactions with the front desk host. The fajita chicken salad had delicious grilled chicken and veggies on top of a bed of lettuce. The meal came with a small container of delicious guacamole and also a dressing. Two issues with this meal: there were pieces of lettuce at the bottom of the salad with obvious dirt in them meaning they weren't washed properly and the dressing tasted strongly of vinegar - did not use it on the salad. The other meal was seafood fettuccine which was good. It came with some mussels, shrimp, scallops and a small lobster claw as well as a cream sauce that was not too thick or heavy.
*Note: I called the restaurant to inform them of the unwashed lettuce and they offered a new salad or something else off the menu.

The only seating area available was horrendous. You have to sit sideways or continually crack your elbow on these off wall pieces that stick out and constantly duck and move because the seats are directly in the servers path. Outside seats to enjoy the view they boast is hoarded by people sitting and just drinking beer.

Good spot for casual dining and they have a lovely patio overlooking the lake. Portions are big. I had a wonderful beet and warm goat cheese salad. My husband had a scallop platter with differently cooked scallops. He got 9 scallops, lots of mashed potatoes and lots of vegetable. I got 2 deep-fried goat cheese balls the size of his scallops. Only 2 balls was not an oversight (I asked). I asked for a bun to accompany the meal. I got HALF a focaccia bun. That seemed odd. It cost $2.50 - but that's what they do (I asked). All in all a good experience but just be aware of what comes with the beet salad for $19.99
