Bella's is the place for ice cream in this town! Unusual flavors, great vegan options, good service, simple atmosphere inside, a couple tables outside on the sidewalk if the weather is nice. So delicious!

Recently came here for ice cream. Staff member was very friendly and helpful. Portions were a bit small and expensive, but tasted ok. They do not have a lot if flavour.

We would see people walking out of the shop with their ice cream and ask them how it was. They would say The Best. And they were right! Yummy.

First visit to Bella’s and won’t be our last. I had salted caramel and it was so creamy and delicious. My daughter had cookies and cream which was also very good. They have homemade waffle cones as well - so good!!! A great addition for...uptown SJ!More

Absolutely the creamiest ice cream I have ever had! Superb flavours (only a few to choose from). Made in small batches and unfortunately, they do run out quickly. Store is hard to find unless you know # of street address. Guess that makes it a...'hidden gem!' Was there one day last week and they were out of some types by mid afternoon. Went there yesterday and shop was closed (sign said "out of ice cream") by 1:30!! 😳 Too bad because I drove 45 mins just to go there with a friend who was on vacation :/More

Drop in this Ice Cream Shop by curiosity last week! The shop has several kinds of delicious home made ice cream ( we tried two flavors), served by friendly staff in a small but nice environment with window seats and more seating on the street.

The ice cream here was excellent and the service was friendly and helpful when deciding the flavour. The only thing I didn't really love was the layout. It was a bit tight with a bunch of people in there ordering and then trying to sit...down and eat. It is more of a grab and go type of place.More

The only place I can get Vegan Ice Cream in the city...and it's amazing ice cream! So smooth and creamy and the berries are FRESH! Oh dear I'm dreaming again

I really admire that the owner wouldn't let my friends and I in 4 minutes past closing time (there were actually tons of people who would've went it if they could've). He let us know his workers had a long day and that they were...tired. Even after pestering him and joking with him, he stood firm on his no, and I know that's a very difficult thing to do. He truely cared.. the wellbeing of his employees came before $$. I've been able to get in since then, and delicious it was!More

We decided to try the ice cream here twice and were both disappointed in how little ice cream we received. The flavours we tried were delicious and fresh though. We had the chance to try the coffee crunch, butter pecan, roasted banana and cookies and...cream. All were very good and glad we had the chance to try this spot out. It is a bit expensive for us, $16 for two regular sizes in a dish.More

This was my first visit to Bella's Traditional Ice Cream and it won't be my last! I had the Butter Pecan in a Homemade Waffle cone and it was creamy, flavorful, and I can only describe it as "melt in my mouth goodness"!
