A local recommended that we eat here for breakfast and I am glad that we did. All the plates that my party ordered were really good (bagel with eggs, full breakfast, veggie sandwich). The staff were also very friendly and gave us fun suggestions for things to do in Saint John. Would definitely go back.

Best breakfast sandwich ever. Had the steak and eggers. Friend had fresh bagel and cream cheese... fresh and delicious. Encourage you to visit St John Market to have a similar great experience.

We stopped by on a Saturday morning and struck up a conversation with the gentleman running the place. He was super friendly and gave us some great tips about some of the surrounding area. The food was also great.

We were strolling through the city market and stumbled upon this little deli style restaurant . It was still morning but we are from Pa so the time was different and we wanted lunch, so I asked if they would make a cheese steak sub at that time of day and they were more than happy to do so. I have to say it was one of the most scrumptious cheese steaks I have ever had. So if you are in the area stop in and try them out.

Fantastic deli in the heart of the Saint John City market. David the owner adds a particularly charming flavour and character to the place. A home away from home!

We visited this stall at the city market as part of a tour and had the opportunity to sample some of their goods. The maple butter was creamy and delicious. The setup was good and had a strong flavor. The dulse is a local food. I didn't like it, but others in my group did. Nonetheless, I suspect it's something I'll never see again, so I'm glad I tried it. They also have several chocolates and candies. It's a great place to get a little of this and a little of that, or pick up something to take home for someone else.

Love the city market, and this place is a must try. Breakfast sandwiches are my all time favorite here, so delicious. Always very quick, staff is great and you cant beat the prices.

Cornucopia of treats in the City Market. We visited late in the day and most booths were closing. The stall serves more than sandwiches it also has a tempting display of treats and maple products. We tasted the maple butter, YUM, and purchased several jars to take home,

This place has been around since 1895. The owner is wonderful and very helpful. He gives this place his personal touch. We had the curried chicken rice which was delicious. They also had chicken samosas. The menu is so eclectic and varied. They have a small area to sit down and eat. He was very patient with my little one as he wanted his milk warm. It's a great place to relax and take in the different smells and goods at the market place !

Had the omelette for break fast and the noodle stir fry for lunch. The price were ok, not too expensive but the size of the dises were not huge either. Special Blueberry pancake on Sat morning.
