I was blown away by this place. Very unique place with excellent French cuisine. If I lived near Shediac I’d be dining there every opportunity I could. Will definitely be back the next time I’m visiting family in Moncton.

We reserved for a group of 6 people. With a unique concept and decor, we got a tour of the upstairs and main floor. Friendly service was followed by good food. Booked for a family birthday meal and games, having exchanged several emails to arrange it. Got there to find no one had any knowledge of our booking - not impressed. They hurriedly got a room ready and basically just dumped us in there with menus....No explanation of how the games accessing worked, no build-up to anything, no making anything fun. We ordered food (menu seemed okay if a bit ordinary) and set about finding our own games and getting started. Food was a major disappointment. My pasta dish seriously seemed like someone just added a tin of diced tomatoes and some dried herbs - 0 flavour. Lobster Quesadilla was nothing special, just ‘meh’. Club sandwich was ordinary.Mac and cheese was without flavour. Desserts were, I think, done by the dishwasher - certainly not by anyone who can cook. Lemon Tart was almost inedible, Sundae just wasn’t, not good at all. Drinks were forgotten on a couple of occasions and service was sketchy. Def would not recommend or visit again. Good concept poorly executed and they need to get someone in the kitchen who can cook and understands flavours. You cannot charge premium prices for barely food wagon fare.More

Seeing all the good reviews maybe I am the one that is being picky but for my first experience I was disappointed .... service was horrible ... got my drink 20 min later 5 min before my lunch and had to go inside to get...our bill cause we were told that they would probably forget about us ... I took the lobster for 19,99 well the lobster roll was fine but barely any sides .... a tiny salad and a handful of regular ruffles chips ??? I don't go to the restaurant to eat chips so for me it looked really cheap for 19.99 I left and I was still hungry ...More

We had seen the positive reviews for Le-Moque-Tortue on TripAdvisor prior to our visit to Shediac and were not disappointed. They have a very interesting Alice in Wonderland themed menu, which our server told us was a favourite book of the owners. Had a very...pleasant lunch. We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the excellent lobster rolls served on 3 small delicious toasted fresh mini rolls filled with lots of sweet fresh lobster with crisp veggies, mayo etc. It was hard to see the rolls under all the delicious filling. Probably the best I’ve ever had.More

A stop on Viva’s Strolling and Tasting Tour - and the chicken fricot was awesome ! You can tell the chef is fabulous and we’ll be back again and again ! A MUST visit if you’re in Shediac!

I had the lobster linguine. Yummy. Love the fact there trying to get all the products local it makes it more special . Service was very excellent. Made you feel like home and special. There keeping use all safe
