La Coast Restaurant is our favorite restaurant along the Northumberland straight. Service is top notch, and this is NOT pub grub, your meal is prepared by an awesome chef using local ingredients, you will not be disappointed!
Beer was ice cold, and both servers were super friendly, which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. I expected alot more from the fancy looking setup, and the over priced menu items. I ordered the "fish and chips" which consisted of one single...filet of panko crusted, undercooked fish(not REAL fish batter), and a lobster poutine on the side which was cold: standard, mediocre pub food, in a high end restaurant. Needless to say, I was not impressed, and the only reason I never asked for a refund, was because the staff were super friendly.More
Not many choices in Shediac this summer on a rainy evening, but we lucked out to find this place! Our group of 4 friends was greeted by a friendly and helpful waiter. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the...size of the plates! Lobster club sandwich was excellent and I was told that the seafood chowder was amazing. Will definitely be back!More
Taxis driver told that was the best restaurant in Shediac and guys don’t miss this restaurant. Service is the best but wait till you dig in your food. Unbelievable. Even the owner Philippe from France came at the table to make sure everything was not...ok but perfect. We travel a lot and this is a must..More
Mussels, a burger, all fine, nothing exceptional. The fries were good. The beer selection was okay, but a lot of their taps were dry. You could do worse, but also better in Shediac. Service was friendly and fine.
We had a hard time choosing a restaurant in Shediac. Not much to choose from that’s not your regular pub food. While La Coast is pub food, we chose it for its beer selection. Although due to COVID the selection was small, we were able...to enjoy a craft beer with our meal. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was good. (We had mussels, broccoli soup and fish and chips). My only complaint would be price. ($80) for two of us to dine. However, being a tourist town you should expect to pay a little more.More
Charming little restaurant in a quaint little town, the La coast salad was ordered small, but was enough to share! The seafood chowder was fantastic WOW!, I was here in 2018, and first chance came back, driving 40 klm out of my way for lunch!...Everything from the food, atmosphere, music and waitress is first class, A BIG THANKSMore
