Very quaint coffee house. Went for lunch. Soup and sandwich was very tasty. Various types of coffee. I had the house blend - very good.

We purposely went to this cafe to try it out and support local. We will not be back. I ordered a London Fog tea latte. My daughter ordered one of the specials, as was written up on their chalkboard. We got our drinks and then...popped right back into the car to head out of town. She is celiac and specifically asked about the ingredients of the syrups etc. and she asked for almond milk. Our drinks were totally messed up. I got the almond milk in my drink and also got her syrups. It was disgusting. She basically got a super strong expresso latte with who knows what kind of milk. We dumped out both of our drinks. If you have any kind of dietary restrictions, do NOT go here. She could have gotten super sick. What a total waste of $12.More

My partner and I were looking for a quiet place to eat a light lunch and Coffee Matters fit the bill. We had the turkey and dressing panini and it was delicious!

The place is nice and the coffee tastes good. However, if you are a non-white person, you should think twice before going there. I went with some friends this week around 11 in the morning we ordered some coffees and a couple of young foreigners...(not white) arrived. When lunch time came, the manager went directly to the foreigners and ask them to leave so he could use the tables to serve lunch. He didn't say anything to us or customers at other tables who weren't going to lunch either. The young woman told him she had been buying several beverages in order to be able to send a University and he replied: “this is a coffee shop, not a charity.” My friends and I, immediately left. It was embarrassing and painful to see.More

My daughter and I ate lunch. Mediocre sandwich good soup. I had to clean the toilet off before using and the washroom smelled like pee. This is my second time at this location - wanted to give it a second chance.

The menu here is quite delicious and the service is fantastic. My personal favorite is the Mediterranean chicken pesto sandwich, but there is a nice variety.

Visited for lunch as after reviewing online menu it noted a 9.99$ lunch special from 11am-2pm. Upon arrival was informed it was no longer available. When I advised it was still advertised on the online menu it wasn’t really validated and more or less dismissed....Ordered hot and iced coffee and two bowls of soup, 25$ roughly (23$ and change I believe ) . Server asked about milk and sugar but not quantity? Poorly made coffees, went with it anyways. Soup was just ok, not very flavourful. Served with toasted store bought naan bread. Female server who brought the soup was friendly. 25$ for two coffee and two soups? With the selection downtown I won’t be returning for food, maybe coffee.More

I always visit this place when I’m in town. This place is a must stop if you’re in the market for a delicious latte. Their sweets are also yummy! Great atmosphere. Staff are friendly.

One of my go to spots to go with a laptop and work. The room has lots of windows so there’s tons of natural light. The coffee is very yummy, and they always have a massive selection of cakes and treats. There is also a...menu which offers breakfast sandwiches, soups, salads etc.More
