Situated across from the Hotel Newfoundland, this trendy cafe is a great place to gather with friends over a hot cuppa and a home made sandwich, soup or pastry. It's actually quite spacious inside and the tables are nicely situated so that you don't feel...More

This wonderful coffee shop has a great menu of breakfast and lunch items. They have an extended coffee menu and lots of seating (high tops and regular tables and chairs too). Coffee Matters is more like a café, than a coffee shop - and they...More

Relax and enjoy it is all here. Beautiful decor, ambience great food, delectable sweet treats and very friendly staff. Snowball is a must - not too sweet and apparently all Newfoundlandish!

This was our first stop after arriving in St. John’s today...what a disappointment. After a promising start (great atmosphere, nice menu selections, very helpful and pleasant girl at the counter) it quickly went downhill. We ordered a turkey and avocado sandwich, sans bread (keto diet),...More

Absolutely the best coffee I tasted in St Johns. Parking across road. Very good service in what seemed to me to be a good re-creation of a turn of the century (19/20th) eating house. Good range of pastries and scones.
