Dropped in for a thirst quenchers while out and about in St. John's. Loved the decor of this pub and the friendly service.

Our server was pleasant. We selected to sit outside but it began to get too cold so moved indoors after ordering. She adjusted very nicely. NOTE: The outside dining overlooks a seedy alley. The food was mediocre at best. We did eat it but wouldn't...More

We stopped in for lunch on our last day in NFLD. We all ordered the Cod and chips(gravy & dressing). The food was of good quality along with friendly service. There is a lot of competition on Water street.

Stopped in for a couple of pints on a Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed the company of other visitors and a very knowledgable bartender regarding local beer. I also had a couple of appetizers which came out of the kitchen, promptly and fresh from the grill.

We had dinner at The Celtic Hearth which is associated with and a physical part of Bridie Molloy's. Try the Jiggs Pie; it is fantastic. It is a savoury menu item that The Newfoundlanders are known for.

By looks of it everyone heads here once the bars close down as there are not many other options. Basic pub food but pricey, club sandwich was ok but watching riff raff was better.
