Well if you like pubs and pub food and drink you might like this place. Personally when I order chicken fingers I expect real chicken and not that crap that you can for cheaper at a low class fast food restaurant. Expensive in my eyes...More

Went here a few times in July/august on business trips. Had great time each time. The food is nice and of good quality for pub grub. Nice and enjoyable. Good place for a drink also. It was pretty full every time and the almost constant...More

Visited for a dinner and a listen to a local performer. Service was fantastic and the meal was ok but we were certainly disappointed with the musincal performance. The solo act did more talking than singing and seemed to be just going through the motions...More

My family and I had our first dinner here in St. John's. It was excellent! Good atmosphere with good food. My parents found the battered fish to be a bit greasy, but our moose poutine and moose burger were outstanding! Excellent service as well -...More

Shamrock is the best bar you will ever find in St John's. Exceptional service you will not find anywhere else. Good bands if you want to hear a bit of live music. Go to Shamrock City you won't be dissappointed.

It's a little small, and it seems at 7 people start streaming through the door. Full bar and good selection of beers. The wife had the pan fried cod, 3 pcs for 17.99, which was very good. I tried the moose burger, which was ok....More

Our very first dinner in St. John's was fortunately at Shamrock City. Friendly, engaging staff. Prompt service. Great cod and chips. The atmosphere, even in the early evening, made one feel right at home.

Great music, food and drinks at the Shamrock. Visited with family and friends. Big crowd and a big time. Service was fantastic and the staff are really friendly. They are super busy but really friendly. Down load their app and get your free wings.

I spent a majority of my nights at this pub, it's lively and fun and relatively cheap. The food is pub fare, as one would expect, and delicious! A great selection of beers, and always great live music.

Great local and Irish fare with great service. Live music nightly featuring the best of Newfounland folk and Irish musicians. Owned by D'Arcy Broderick, formerly of Irish Descendents and Fables bands.
