Went this morning for coffee and to pick up some pastries. My vanilla latte was ok but I wanted it in a mug and they gave it to me in a take away cup. Pain au chocolate was nothing special. I would pass on these....However Raspberry flakie is to die for! Wonderful- I loved it!More

The Coffee tastes like an old sock , it also smelled funny . To add insult to injury the price gouging is out of control in NFLD I would NOT go here and the review above are far from truth ..

We bought some pastries here while staying in St John’s. The cinnamon buns were amazing and the pain au chocolat was very good. Quick service. They seemed to be doing a brisk business, also selling sandwiches for lunch. They open at 8:30am.

I went there twice in my five day stay in St John.They had good coffees and cappuccinos. Baked good were very good too. Try the raspberry flakies!

went in just for a scone and water. The scone was big and wonderful. They were very helpful in finding a fish shop for me.

Good coffee on Water Street in downtown Saint John's. Good selection of treats and also sells coffee for brewing at home.

I had read somewhere in my research of things to do in St. John's that there is live trad music at Rocket Bakery on Tuesday afternoons, so my husband and I headed down to Water St. around noon and popped in for a bite. We...both had chicken sandwiches, which were delicious, and I had a nice iced coffee as well. Service was friendly and efficient. We weren't disappointed in the experience. Sure enough a group of musicians seated at a table in front took out their instruments and treated everyone to a wonderful set of tunes. We really liked that it felt low-key, authentic and local, not a tourist attraction. There are a lot of things to like about Newfoundland and Rocket counts as one of them.More

Went to Sidmouth to Golk Week. Food to buy on Vie far too expensive. Went back to town to look for food. Found a lovely bakery and take away. The Upper Crust. Wonderful food. Sandwich 🥪 sooo big filled to the brim with various fillings....Then a cake mine Choux filled with apple, the size of a dinner plate + a coffee filter or tea. Wait for it !!!! All for £4.99. Its so good and won't break the bank. Lovely friendly women too😁😁😁👍👍.More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lattes, freshly made and tasty fish cakes as well as our scrumptious desserts! We also found the service to be quite attentive and very friendly. We strongly recommend a visit to this delightful bakery!

My sister and I ate here twice. The food was delicious and clean restaurant. The staff friendly, however it was hard to find clean utensils. I think they are understaffed right now, just like so many businesses.
