Venue was beautiful, inside is worth visiting, much better than outside! Food good, servers lovely, beer excellent!

This is a great spot for dinner. Really lovely pub with nice outside patio area. Wolfville is a lovely town and the food and drink here was top notch. Good service, interesting menu and beer flights to try a range of different beers. Would recommend.
Terrible service. Sat for more than 10 minutes with wait staff clearly seeing us, and walking by. Finally the bar tender came- with prompting from someone else- and he was a disaster. Dumped the receipt Paper everywhere. Didn’t seem to understand how a restaurant works....Really dreadful. The service here has gone downhill significantly.More
First time visit to this restaurant and will not be returning. Waited 25 minutes to be seated by a very grumpy and unwelcoming young lady and noticed she treated others the same way while taking them to their tables. We had a very nice waiter...though which made up for the unwelcoming person who seated us. We all ordered the Porter Bacon and cheddar burger and fries all four plates had a top layer of fries that were a bit over cooked and under the top layer they were all tiny bits of burnt fries that were obviously left over ones recooked and burnt. The hamburger had a good taste but was also over cooked and a bit dry. Worst meal ever, definitely recommend going elsewhere sadly not worth the money to eat here.More
We tried to eat here but after sitting for a long time and no one coming to serve us we left. Not even drinks.
The building is beautiful inside and out. It is a really nice setting for drinks or a meal. However my meal was hit and miss. I had the crispy broccoli as a starter. Very disappointed. Way too much batter and the brocoli was way overcooked...resulting in no texture at all. I then had the Bangkok noodles with the addition of pork belly. The noodles were good and plentiful but did not taste thai curry as indicated in the menu. The pork belly was a nice addition and the portion generous. Food service was ultra rapide. Personnel was friendly and efficient.More
The location and interior of the church are wonderful. Our dinner, however, was mediocre at best. It took a very long time to receive our food (other tables who arrived later than we did were served prior to us). My burger was wayyy overdone, charred...and dry. My husband's fish and chips did not have much flavor, and he found a piece of tin foil in his chowder. Our server was pleasant, and we enjoyed the beer, but we did not have a good experience with the food.More
This is a very popular place and the food varies depending on the chef. Sunday night was fine but a bit too we’ll cooked!
Beer people in the group enjoyed the flights. Service was friendly. Wine by the glass too expensive so wouldn't order it. Menu was a bit limited. Surprised not to see lobster roll or local scallops as a choice. Beef stroganoff pretty good and seafood chowder...got good reviews from our group.More
What a great spot to spend an afternoon! Enjoyed a flight, some pretzels and then some fish and chips. The kids enjoyed wings, burgers and fries! The whole experience was lovely. A must visit for everyone after a walk through Wolfville
We finally had a chance to eat at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The old church is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The beers were very good and the food was amazing. The salads were so good!!! We also tried...the fish and chips that were excellent and the burgers!!!! We thought the prices were reasonable too. If you have the chance, please go.More
Based on another's recommendation, drove over to Wolfville from Windsor, and so glad we did. A great spot for a great meal with wonderful decor and well spaced tables; not at all crowded. They have an amazing selection of their own beers, all listed as..."hymns" to be sung. I had a delicious burger with a Caesar salad on the side - and yes, a burger can be delicious. My wife had the Risotto with chicken. She cleaned out her dish! The chocolate cheesecake with mousse was actually light for a dessert and not large enough to share.More
Two of my favorite places in one -- a brewery and a church. I had a flight of their beers and they were all good. I especially liked the Rose Sour called Life After Death. The names of their beers are very creative -- Sanctuary,...Congregation, Illuminate, Married to the Sea, Church Blonde, etc. The Matriarch chowder was good but wasn't very flavorful, unfortunately. I'd stick to the 'suds' and 'soak up' the atmosphere.More
Beautiful building, good atmosphere, great selection of beers. However... "Table for two please" (note: we're both in our sixties with mobility issues) "Follow me.." <puts menus down on the bar in front of two bar stools> "No, we wanted a table.." <looking at six empty...tables> "They're all reserved" "All???" <another waitress walks past and says..> "This one isn't. Let me help you." Not impressed. We should have been asked if bar stools were acceptable. Thereafter service was good. Then we spotted... "$5 pint, Tue-Fri, 4-6pm" And it was 5.53pm, so we ordered a lager and an IPA, which came in 14oz and 12oz glasses respectively. Neither of which are an imperial pint (20oz) or even an American pint (16oz). We were seen off! If you say 'pint', then pour a damn pint. The beers were both good though. We ordered a burger and a Reuben. The burger was overcooked and dry. The Reuben was not a Reuben as we know it (corned beef): instead it was simply sliced pot roast and thus rather flavourless. The dressing was anything but tangy, and so was the sauerkraut. It needed salt and mustard to bring it back to life. Overall, sadly disappointing. We should have ordered the fish & chips!More
We had heard that this was a good place to eat in Wolfville so we were doubly disappointed. The service was efficient but slow and the food was disappointing. My wife ordered a fish with a salad. The fish was overcooked and greasy and her...salad was limp. I had the Rueben Sandwich. All I could taste in the sandwich was fat. I opened the sandwich to look at the filling, saw grizzle and fat and very little meat & sauerkraut. I ate the fries and left the sandwich uneaten. When the waiter took our plates she looked at what I left, looked at me then looked down without asking what was wrong. All she said was do you want your bill.More
