I visit Wolfville maybe once a month or so and the Rolled Oat is a favorite place to stop. They have plenty of veg options, including a full assortment of vegan cupcakes. I have had their grilled veg panini which was incredible, and yeh those cupcakes? Best I've ever had. What really stands out for me though is their customer... More

I found this cafe by asking a local -" where is a good place to eat"? It is very small and has 2 tables outside. The special was gone (1 o'clock) but peanut curry soup on rice was available. We opted for a sandwich- on wholewheat- bacon, avocado, lettuce, creamed cheese and tomato. Pear on the side. I also had... More

I love eating at the Rolled Oats, the food is always very good, and the ingredients used fresh and local.

As I state on the Magic Wine Bus, this is a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch in town. I've heard that Devour Food Festival people/attendees have raved about the food quality as well. Good local products...but you can't be in a rush. Good food takes time. 5 years in business and still going strong!

Delicious food with very friendly service. We had their muffins and breakfast sandwiches, and some energy balls for the road. All excellent.

This restaurant was my daughter's favorite of the entire time we were in Nova Scotia! We both had the eggs/hashbrowns/bacon/toast breakfast and it was delicious! I loved the jam that was served for the toast. All of the pieces were cooked perfectly. The restaurant only has a few tables so it could be a busy place sometimes. The waitress seemed... More

My hubby and I found this place by accident after a visit to the local wineries. If you are in a hurry, this probably won't be the place for you, but If you like food that is yummy and individually prepared, go here. It is worth the wait!

Our lunch was terrific. The salad with fresh strawberries, candies pecans, chicken and goat cheese was soooo good. The rice bowl with sautéed vegetables was also a winner. We would definitely done at the Rolled Oat Cafe again and again.

We stopped here before flying back home on our recent visit to Canada, looking for a hearty breakfast to set us up for the day. I had the big breakfast and my partner had the homemade granola. Both were delicious. We did get there for just after it opened to make sure we got seats, and service was fairly quick.... More
