Lovely spot with an extensive menu. Wait staff were pleasant but were somewhat inexperienced so that when a mistake was found on the bill, it took some time and effort to try and get it sorted. It was not handled in a professional manner which took the shine off what was otherwise a delicious meal.

This is a hidden gem that we are so happy we found. It is tucked in and was difficult to find but we were determined to find it. Troy’s menu was amazing and some of the most delicious flavours we have ever tasted. I ordered the beef and it was melt in your mouth. My friend ordered the buttered chicken and asked if possible that the sauce be served on the side and it was. The salad was fresh and tasty, the rice cooked to perfection. We bought some hummus to take home bc it was perfectly made. The service we received from a young lady was the best we have received in a long time!!

We had eaten a late lunch at a vineyard, but we needed a light dinner to get us through the evening. Troy did not disappoint. We had salads and an appetizer selection. Everything was fresh and delicious. The leftover appetizers kept in our hotel refrigerator for two days and we enjoyed them at that point.

Reservations were booked too late for us to make our movie, so we decided to just ask if they had any walk in seating available, no worries if not. We waited several minutes for someone to seat us despite multiple staff members walking by. The person who sat us didn't smile or welcome us or anything, and seemed annoyed that we didn't have a reservation. We ordered the spicy chicken kebab and butter tofu kebab. The food was fine, but under seasoned. Portions were very small considering they were $21 each plus tax. Not very well seasoned or flavourful. Meat was tender, but nothing exceptional. The Greek salad tasted like a grocery store chopped salad. Under seasoned, too much vinegar. Only one olive on the salad, which seemed strange for a Greek salad. Food got to us relatively quickly. Our server was very kind and attentive and the only redeeming aspect of the dinner.

I went to Troy because it is one of the best rated restaurant in Wolfville. Overall the experience was ok but not more. In terms of ambiance, I was freezing inside and turning down the air conditioner seemed like mission impossible. I started with the trio of cold mezze. The cucumber mint was by far the best. The olive tapenade was too salty to my taste. The hot pita bread was excellent. I had the lamb chops as the main course. The lamb was overcooked and again quite salty. The rice was firm and tasteless. Overall a disappointing main course.

Lovely atmosphere , lovely staff , beet salad is spectacular , Calamari is pretty good. Perhaps it's a supply issue as our server gave us a very long list of things they were out of , and good on her as its better to know as soon as you sit down what you can't have . (5pm we arrived.). I wasn't really hungry as we had a late lunch at a neighbouring restaurant that was amazing , so I just wanted a beet salad that was one of the best I had ever had. My husband is a pretty healthy eater and just wanted the shrimp ( which they were out of , our server probably told us but the list was so long we probably missed it as we never order shrimp , so he and one of the other guests had Calamari which was average at best. Our 3 hungry daughters ordered 12 oz ? Striploins and a burger . Steaks were tough and thin (no fault to anyone but the purchaser/supplier. The burger was most probably a frozen patty, Party of 6 , 4 cocktails, , 2 glasses of wine , 2 small draft , 1 shared appetizer which was baked feta, also underwhelming , no dessert ,, no coffee , sodas or any extras ,and our bill was just under $300 before tip , we did tip generously as nothing was in her control. My first and probably last trip to Troy, its a tough industy, I know because I have been in it for for 34 years. Good luck getting it on track.

We went to this restaurant for lunch today. The fries are delicious! I had the butter chicken. It was so good and so filling! My husband had the burger and one of my sons had the kids beef and it was so delicious I wanted to order it for myself! We ate outside and everything was just so well maintained. The outside was beautiful. It is so nice to see a company take pride in their property along with serving delicious food. The staff were great! I would very much recommend this place.

We were a party of four. We visited this venue at noon-hour mid week in August for a bit of an extended family "get together" so we had lots of time on our hands. Which was a good thing. It took well over an hour to actually have our respective meals delivered to the very smallish table in the outdoor setting. The server was very polite. The lamb kabob which I had personally ordered was clearly overcooked, tough and chewy. Very disappointing. Now having said all that; we like the physical layout of the venue and the vibe and will likely return when we also have lots of time on our hands and maybe try something else on the menu. The entree prices seemed needlessly extreme, to me at least.

We have been to Troy multiple times…when we visit the pretty town of Wolfville, it’s become an essential place to visit. This visit we went twice, The moussaka is unbelievable. We also had the musak borek, a fried feta pastry, spinach borek, spicy chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs and seafood platter. Every dish was exactly what we hoped for. The service was wonderful, and the restaurant is so cozy and inviting. It was very busy with Christmas season, but they were very attentive and organized. If you’re in Wolfville, Troy is a great choice!

We called to see about reserving and couldn’t get the time we wanted. The gentleman who we talked to called us back within a minute to tell us he had looked at seating and would be able to accommodate. We were then lucky enough to have this same gentleman as our server. Our meals were excellent, extremely great tastes. We started with the hot feta dip-amazing. My husband had the Caesar salad with chicken, my daughter the seafood kabob and I had the special, butter chicken. Sooo good. Shared a bottle of local wine and local beer, both very good price points. Finished with baklava. All the while our server was on point with stopping at our table regularly in spite of the restaurant being full and only he and one other server. We had a lovely dinner all the way around. Service was something that seems harder to come by these days. Don’t miss Troy if you’re visiting Wolfville.

We were pleasantly surprised but not really because from start to finish our service and food was outstanding. Our waitress helped us make drink choices, appetizer selections and advised us that the grill was up to one hour so we were not disappointed as we had time to chat together and enjoy our time. The chicken kabobs were the tastiest chicken I’ve ever eaten. No word of a lie! All the meals looked delicious as the waitress delivered them to other tables.

Thought we'd give this place a try for a date night in June. Absolutely fantastic! They were really attentive and offered gluten friendly substitutions (tortilla chips for the shared dip, gluten free bun for my lamb burger) My husband and I shared the dip trio (red pepper with feta, hummus and olive tapenade) it was very good. Our main courses were ready quite fast but the server was really good at letting us enjoy our meal and bottle of wine and not rushing us. We will definitely be visiting again.

I don’t know how this place gets bad reviews. We were given a gift card for our wedding and my mom made a reservation for 7pm but we changed it to 5pm instead with no issue. We were seated right away and all the staff were so nice. They offered outside patio seating but warned us it might be chilly so we stuck to inside. Erica was our waitress and she was super Sweet. We ordered drinks (me a ceaser and my husband had a ruby red beer). Both were excellent. They even offered my husband a sample of the beer before he ordered it to be sure he’d like it which he did. We shared the cold mezza plate and asked for extra pita. It was such a great plate of their different dips. The olive was my fave and his was the red pepper dip. Then we ordered our mains. Mine was the beef sish and he ordered the steak. He loved his and mine was fantastic. The rice was so flavourful!!! Then he got an old fashioned and I got a tea and he got a Greek coffee. It was a 1st time for him and he didn’t really like it all that much but he drank it. He had the cream brûlée which he said was so wonderful and not super sweet and I got the baklava which was super sweet with the honey and just a perfect end to a perfect dinner!!!!

We went to Troy to celebrate my son’s birthday but it ended up a very frustrating and annoying night. Foods were served after 2 hrs of waiting and my daughter’s lamb chops was served RAW…they took it back to cook it again how my daughter like it but still served it RAW. Foods was not great and service was very poor. What a waste of our time and money. Paid almost $200 for cheap service and foods that we didn’t enjoy at all. Hopefully management can look into how to improve there food and service.
