If you'd fancy a delicious Italian style espresso and a sweet vegan snack, this is THE place to be in Wolfville. All the nice paintings on the walls can be bought as well. So come in and indulge yourself...

I travel to the Maritimes a couple of times per year. I always go to T.A. N. Coffee in Coldbrook as it is close to my parents’ home. I have always enjoyed the experience, the espresso and the friendly staff! I have to say that this year is different. The gentleman that is currently working there seems to either dislike his job or his customers. I was there a number of days in a row and the first time I thought perhaps he was having a bad day. I did not see T.A.N. Coldbrook listed on Tripadvisor thus writing this for the Wolfville location. Having been a business owner all of my adult life, I would appreciate it if someone gave me a heads up, so hope the owner sees this and is able to share with his employee, opening a dialogue about customer service, and friendliness. It does make a difference.

Enjoyed coffee at T.A.N several times during our stay in Wolfville. The coffee was smooth and flavourful as were the baked goods we enjoyed one morning.

My wife and I had a decent couple of cappuccinos at this downtown Wolfville cafe. The service was pretty unsmiling though.

Came for a coffee treat today here. Had a latte. Taste was awesome and service was great. Clean facilities and very welcoming.

A very small shop that makes very good coffee and great treats. The service is well educated in the menu and seem to care about their business. There is little room to sit and enjoy your coffee as it seems that every time I visit there are single students taking up an entire table, which are few.

This is a simple review - we were looking for outstanding coffee and mouth watering pastry or muffin this morning and T.A.N.’s did the job in spades. Wild blueberries bursting with flavour complimented by mild cream cheese!

I got a pumpkin spiced coffee and it was very good. Also I got a spumpkin scone and it was excellent. My daughter and her husband got coffees and they said they loved the coffees. They actually bought a bag of coffee. The service was very good, so pleasant and friendly.

Travel in Canada is great, we have great coffee nearly every where. This is another one of those coffee lovers establishments. It was hot out so I had a simple iced coffee. I also bought a pound of fresh roasted and ground coffee and enjoyed it for the 2 weeks we were there.

T.A.N stands for “The Alternative Network” independently owned micro roasters. We enjoyed wonderfully roasted coffee from Guatemala as well as Ethiopia at home. Their espresso is right on the mark so is their brewed coffee. We stopped in Tuesday evening for coffee after dinner out and were surprised by their open mike event. We spent 2 hours being serenaded by some very talented artists from all over Nova Scotia. What a delight. It does not get any better than that. Do plan an evening out in Wolfville and enjoy the local talent at the T.A.N coffee shop.

T.A.N. is a small cafe on the main street of Wolfville. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are committed to fair trade and sustainable products, and are very much a community center.
