This was a lovely inn. The rooms are a little small, but very well appointed. The complimentary breakfast was very well done. We had dinner in their dining room one evening and it was delicious!! The grounds are beautiful and the inn is close to...the Wolfville downtown and university. Loved our stay.More

An oasis of elegance, peace and Canadian kindness in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The place is so elegant and comfortable we know we must come back! The cottages are beautifully placed to provide privacy and access to the stunning garden. The food is fantastic and will...please even very demanding New Yorkers like ourselves. The Inn is family run and you feel it in everything they do. We had a car problem and the owner spent his morning helping us- he saved our tour of local wineries. We are amazed, grateful and relaxed.More

Absolutely beautifully prepared Halibut. Lobster pasta was generous portion of lobster and amazing dish. Started with the lemon arugula salad which was exceptional. Lemon sorbet to cleanse pallet….then had strawberry rhubarb dessert was nice with ice cream instead of whipped cream. Excellent food and great...service.More

Had a last minute booking at this beautiful place. Lovingly maintained and suites and rooms were spotlessly clean. Decor was superbly matched to the age of the building without appearing tired or old. Simple but ample continental breakfast with your choice of charming dining room...or garden patio. Priced well for the location. Wolfville is really a beautiful part of Nova Scotia. Wineries close by and quaint friendly town. Highly recommend that you visit and stay here.More

We had the filet of beef, which had very little flavor. We absolutely do not mind the price point of an upscale restaurant. The Blomindon provides upscale pricing without delivering an upscale meal.

You have to stay at this Historic Inn, privately owned and they make sure you are served the finest accommodations and dining. We were lucky to stay in one of the older rooms in the original home. We love the architecture of these fine homes....The staff are so attentive. Look no further. We'll be back. Brian & StanMore

First let me say the server was knowledgeable and welcoming. Very professional. The atmosphere was good. The appetizer was good, run of the mill that you could easily do at home with a trip to the deli. The main course was so bland. I’m not...sure if it was the dish itself or the chef was having a bad night. But it was not worth eating. I would of gone to Boston pizza for their pasta dishes had I known. We were looking forward to a nice dinner after wine tasting but it was not the ending we had hoped for.More

We ate supper here. They're trying very hard to deliver an up-scale fine-dining experience but missing the mark a bit in a number of ways. While the staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming, I expect a bit more refinement from the food and the experience...at this price point. The food was good, but not "wow," and there were multiple details of service that were missed. The patio is a beautiful space but it's unfortunate that the loud kitchen ventilation is directly overhead. We really wanted to love this spot, but will choose somewhere else next time.More

I should admit that I have always loved the Blomidon Inn, but at this visit it seemed better than ever. Impeccable service, equally excellent food, and an impressive wine list. Don't miss it!

Once again we had a lovely dinner at the Blomidon Inn.Appetizers were very generous portions. My husband had the fish cake which was made just the way he likes them.My caesar was excellent with just the right amount of dressing. The maple cream chicken was perfectly done...and well presented. Marcella, our very efficient waitress checked in to make sure we were happy with our choices. Our room, Hantsport, was cozy and bed comfy.Breakfast is self serve continental.Always a pleasure to return to Blomidon and the Wolfville area.More

I was at Blomidon Inn for a birthday party and it was fabulous to have a private room. Wish I could say the food was fabulous as well. However, the beef tenderloin was tasteless and the spinach salad was dry. The dessert was definitely the...highlight. I emailed the restaurant a few days later to let them know several members of our party were unimpressed. I did not get a response. So unprofessional. It was my first time eating at the inn and I do not understand the hype.More

Our server was very unprofessional and we felt like we were at a pub ordering food except it was suppose to be a fine dining experience, which also came with fine dining prices. Food was okay, not very flavour able. Bread came out cold and...Caesar’s were vey bland. When we notified our sever that we weren’t happy with our food she did not do anything about it. In fact she lied and said she spoke to a manger, which later turned out there was no manger on duty. Overall was a poor dining experience! Dated restaurant with poor service.More

We are locals who had not been here for supper in a number of years. We were very pleased with the meal. The menu is more contemporary than our past experience. There were 4 or 5 options, and there is a fixed price meal for...multiple courses. Homemade bread was delicious. Wines and beers had lots of options. The dining room is beautiful and the tables are nicely spaced. I had fish cakes and a small beef tenderloin. My partner had salad and pasta. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Service was friendly and the meal was nicely paced. Desserts were tasty -- my partner had a hot fudge sundae and I had a blueberry trifle. We thought that the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and ambience received. This is a great spot right in Wolfville, and the Inn is a gem to see. We will return and we recommend.More
