I ordered the Solomon Gundy to find out what the Acadians ate. My friend ate Poutine to discover what the Canadians like. But if you aren't adventuresome, standard fare is also available. They have a great variety of beer--too much fun for one meal!

It's the smallest pub in Nova Scotia. The tables are really close together. The chowder was more like a broth and the fish cakes were more like potatoe cakes. Fish tacos were good. Not a wide selection of beers. Bery busy on Saturday's after the...More

Off the main road but we picked this spot - looking for good pub food. We were not disappointed. Great variety - something for everyone. Fabulous service.

We went for dinner around 6, and the place was probably half full. We ordered a couple of beer with the 2 piece fish each and calamari to start and found everything to be delicious. Great friendly service!

No longer reliable for gluten-free. As of spring, 2017, the place is under new ownership. The new owners do not 'get it'. The old staff were properly trained, so if you must eat here and you're gluten-free, try working DIRECTLY through the older staff and...More

Find this lovely refurbished old pub and you will be in for a treat. The restaurant area is small but the meals are excellent and well priced. Always a special of the day. Never left unhappy and the staff are always friendly.
