I ordered the sausage penne because that's the best pub food, right? It really was delicious! Not something I would have expected.

Stopped in Antigonish to see art in the park and grab dinner. Piper’s has live Music and some were good and others needed to be muted! But the variety of musicians was kind of fun The food was nothing to write home about ... burger...was OK. Veggie flatbread was really just a pizza loaded w cheese and some veggies and the medium well steak was really still alive a bleeding ... music was better than the food really. Our waiter was really good though.More

We were pleasantly surprised with the standard of food at Pipers. We had been to Pipers a few times to see a band and have a few beers, but it did not strike as as a place one would normally seek out good food. However,...my husband and I ended up there one Sunday evening to meet up with friends and decided to give their pastas a try. They were excellent! We have since been back several times and have always had an excellent meal. Most of the place is dedicated to a late night drinking establishment and the atmosphere is not great. However, a small section with about 6 tables around the fireplace is very cozy and makes a fantastic place to eat out in winter.More

This isn't a fun place to eat or socialize. The washrooms are in a terrible state, the decor is dismal, service is painfully slow due to lack of adequate staffing it seems, and the food is mediocre.

We went on Burger night (Tuesdays) and we enjoyed the food, I had a chipotle burger with fries and they were seasoned well. My only problem had nothing to do with the food, but the bathroom.I feel it was absolutely disgusting, I had to skip...using the bathroom because one toilet was covered (and filled) with vomit and the other in Poo.I felt dirty just being in there, it really ruined my experience to be honest. I feel it wasnt busy enough to merit ignoring the bathroom maintenance, it was the late afternoon. I also want to add I was even nervous to open a stall door to look inside because they seem like they could collapse at any minute, as they are barely screwed to the wall. You would think that with the money that place takes in (surprisingly) that the owner could afford to at least fix up the bathroom or put a paper towel dispenser in there. Nothing makes me more excited than to have the air from that rancid bathroom blow drying my hands. I've not seen a gas station washroom as bad as that.More

Well , what a change from March 17, 2018, which was the last time I was in Piper's. Service was poor in March. Only 1 waitress on for both sides of the bar. Couldn't get a drink from the waitress/waiters that were carrying trays of...beer, because the one waitress that was working the bar was our server. I was very disappointed. However, today I felt like I was in a 5 * restaurant ! The little waitress was so attentive. My beer glass was never emptied before she was over to ask if I wanted another one. Service was fabulous. I didn't get her name but we did tell her what an awesome job she did. She thanked us and said that was good to hear, because she is the one to be training other people. Great job !! Will be back !!!!!More

I come to Pipers every time I'm in town from Treasure Island, FL. The Pan Fried Haddock is not to be missed and great night life with frequent live entertainment. Character and Atmosphere with Great service makes this one of my favorites.

A local run of the mill pub catering to simple diner-like meals at affordable prices, and a "club-like" atmosphere for the local students on the weekends. Great live entertainment, and Cash-Karaoke on Wednesdays.

We went for the music but it did not appear that night for whatever reason. It is a big place and the server did their best given the area that she had to cover. Beer variety seemed limited to me as I like a variety...of porters and/or stouts.More

Bathrooms are disgusting. Only 1 of 4 stalls in ladies flushed. Someone is going to have fun cleaning. Went in for a beer. Mine was served wsrm. Yech. Staff was friendly and a ceilidh was on patio.

This place was recommended to us from locals ... will not be coming back. Kitchen closes at 9 got here at 840 and did not get our whole order. Very disappointed. Will not be back to a place I’ve never been before

Came here 3 times in 3 days. Love This spot. Good Pub food , very friendly staff and lots of different beer! When in Antigonish I always come here.
