My wife and I had a pleasant meal here on a Thursday night. I had the Micmac-inspired menu. My wife had the seafood risotto followed by the fish cakes and baked beans. No problem with quantity or quality. Not a superb or exceptional meal, but...More

Overnight stay in Sydney and adjoining motel recommended Kiju’s for dinner. Menu showed promise and TA reviews were positive so we took walkway over. We went early and things didn’t start out well with bar out of tonic so ended up with a Bloody Mary...More

Good service, reasonable prices, nice variety on the menu. We had the aloha burger and it was very filling and quite delicious. No room for dessert. Our waitress was helpful with the menu as well as providing some tourist information. We would recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal (planked salmon) and listened to wonderful music on a Wednesday evening at Kiju's. The food is so tasty, plate presentation is excellent and ingredients locally sourced. Highly recommend.

Also a local recommendation. The food was good but not outstanding, especially for the prices. The service was excellent and the local beers were awesome. Good for a one time experience.

The scallop and shitake risotto was a large portion for an appetizer but we ate it with a smile as it was great. Maybe a little too much cheese but otherwise wonderful. The cedar plank salmon was nice maybe a touch overcooked but smoky and...More

Every foodie should eat here. The haddock tacos are the best you will ever have. A culinary experience that rivals larger cities, but with friendly staff and a relaxed pace. Plus, live music from local songwriters playing at a comfortable volume. Thank you to Chef...More
