In Numerology, I am a Life Path Master Number 11. Upon searching for a place to eat, I chose the 11th restaurant being USTA. My name begins with a K and is the 11th letter. We arrived and were seated at table 11! I am...the chosen 1's. Usta was the chosen 1! I liked the interior. The waiter was very into the numbers as he let us know we were at table 11. He was wowed by that. He was a great host. My courting partner and I were very impressed. We both smiled the whole time and it complimented our first time seeing each other in 30 years. She and I are chosen for each other and I am grateful for this experience as being a part of our journey. Everything about this place was awesome. What a way to break a 3 day no food fast! Delicious food, cozy and clean atmosphere, wonderful staff. This wasn’t our first time and won’t be out last. The prices are very fair and the flavours in the food are so well balanced.
This restaurant is in our neighborhood ,we have had dinner here on many occaisions Exception lamb shank dinner. great service attentive and engaging. you can bring your own wine for a reasonable corking fee. the aps are also excellent with a variety of choices

Really disappointed. I arrived at 745 pm. Stopped in after finishing up a project at work. Ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine and a full meal. Was served at 8pm. At 810pm one of the servers turned on a shop vac trying to clean the...place. I asked for a to go box (as the noise was like a construction site) and finally had to move outside (to finish my wine) it was so loud. The crazy thing is they don’t close until 9pm. My first bad experience there so I didn’t want to give them a really bad review. However the fact that I left a full glass of wine and departed at 820pm with half my meal in a to go box should have told them they dropped the ball. I will likely visit again. However if I hadn’t had so many great experiences their I would never be back.More
Wonderful service and some of the best grilled lamb over rice I've ever had. From the Dolmas to the Baklava at the end, this was a delicious meal. I rarely give 5 stars anywhere, but this meal certainly warranted it. Highly recommend a visit. Ample...parking and an easy drive to get there. Very reasonable pricing and portions.More
Really in Cole Harbor. Great execution. Great value. The hummus and spinach dishes alone were worth the trip. Lamb, of course was excellent. For us half way to Dartmouth making it a great find given the dearth of fine dining in Cole Harbor. Our LPN...server working three jobs was also excellent.More
It has been awhile since I have visited this restaurant due to the pandemic. they were amazing at accomadating a table of 4 in an isolated spot. Food was amazing and service top notch. We all enjoyed our meals. Topped off with rice pudding for...dessert. DELICIOUSMore

Just can’t say enough about how the people at Usta care about customer service and how they care about the food that they prepare and serve to their customers. We had the lentil soup which sounds awful and I would not normally touch with a...10’ pole, but the taste and creaminess is absolutely excellent and not to be missed. Their entrees are delicious and well proportioned, and the Baklava is the best I have ever tasted. I hope that they have all of the success that they fully deserve, and that others give their “hard to find” location a try, you won’t be disappointed.More

Sand one of the best restos on the Dartmouth side of the harbour. Not too easy to find but it's behind Finbar's pub (which most people know). The mixed meze plate is outstanding - my partner has it as a main! I had the Turkish...version of spanakopita - delicious. I had a lamb kebab as my main and it was succulent. And the (small) wine list is very affordable. You won't be disappointed.More
I've lived in Portland Hills for 3 years now and just discovered this hidden gem. My son & I ordered the Set Menu for Two and really enjoyed trying all of the different offerings. The Mixed Meze Plate was a favorite and the Kebabs were...really good. Portions were generous and we ended up with leftovers for another meal. Staff organized contactless trunk service for take-out. Would definitely recommend.More
