From the ship style interior to the long term servers this pub has a relaxing friendly atmosphere. The fish and chips are second to none ans served with large portions and pounds of fries. Daily specials and cold beer are a staple of the long time tavern in the north end of the city.

Nice atmosphere & friendly staff helped make this a really good place to eat. It was close to our hotel & the food was always tasty. It was a mid-price restaurant & you got good value for your money.

We liked the decor. Very friendly staff. It was clean. We only had fries & gravy. the gravy was the usual commercial variety, so wouldn't order that.

The Ship Victory "Beverage Room" is an odd little spot in an odd location. From the outside, the building seems like it would sit perfectly in an industrial park. On the inside, there's wood, wood and more wood and it does have the feel of being inside a ship. It even has porthole windows and ropes and rigging everywhere. The... More

The beer was Cold, had the Clubhouse, good portion, it's been a Staple here on this street for years. Everyone was very nice lots of parking, but when there is traffic, you might want go with the flo, if your in a Hotel on this route, it's worth the Walk or drive.

I'd driven past before plenty of times. Something about the all-concrete 60s construction made it look more like a Soviet prison rather than a nice pub restaurant. But while waiting for a windscreen replacement on my car, I needed somewhere to get lunch within walking distance, so I bravely entered the bunker. And it was really nice inside - well-designed,... stopped in for supper just after 5 pm before attending a meeting, limited window of time, greeted as soon as we walked in the door, order taken and delivered quickly, club house was moist and tasty, fish chips were big portions and lightly battered, very good meals

We visited there with friends and family for wing night. Friendly server. Our drinks were brought quickly. We all had wings which we all enjoyed. The potato skins were the best I've ever eaten. The only draw back I would say was having to wait a bit to pay our bill. Otherwise a good experience (in a rather rustic spot).
