We stopped in for an early dinner before the crowd started. The vegetarian lasagna and grilled cheese with tomato soup were both tasty - especially the tomato soup. The sides are also worth a try - sweet potato fries, Asian cole slaw, onion rings, etc....The service was super friendly and we enjoyed every bite of every dish we ordered. So happy we stopped in and tried so many options!More

Beautiful property at the top of the hill overlooking harbour and town. Food was good. Had gnocchi with scallops. Live music was amazing, Paul and Finian, his son, and what a delight on a beautiful summer night. Restaurant was slammed which hurt service but we...were in no rush. People need to be respectful and patient as restaurants ramp back up. Owners having very hard time getting staff. We appreciated owners doing their best and keeping us apprised. Would go again for sure!!More

WE just found this place and it is my new favorite in the lower end of the Annapolis valley....the food has an asian fusion twist and soo many really good and interesting flavours melded together. The food was super fresh. The owners are inviting and...friendly.....the prices were very affordable....we will be regulars for sure!More

Never had to wrote such a bad review before... but I cant stay quiet about my disappointment I went there with my husband for lunch... because in the past we had such a beautiful experience... What a disappointment from today !! My husband and I...order Fish Fritter with beans and for me a Butter Chicken... after 40 minutes of waiting my husband received his 3 tiny little pieces of fish fritter on top of a bed of relish and he said his beans was tasting lemon... and for me ... My Butter Chicken Curry was absolutely nothing to do with a butter chicken !! What a received was few pieces of chicken with a huge mix of vegetable ! ( Yellow and Green Beans, julienne of carrot ,big chunk of pepper in a chicken broth !! on top a big slop of rice! Everyone who already had butter chicken before knows this is so wrong !! Butter chicken is a curry of chicken in a spiced tomato, butter and cream sauce... what I got was literally a chicken stew.. and like I mentioned to the server... taste blend... I had rations pack in field was testing better then what we got ! Even during my service in Afghanistan I had a better butter chicken !! Its such a shame this place is goin down !! was a place I enjoyed before... but Never again...I didn't finish my plate... just left and drove back home to had a grill cheeseMore

Decent atmosphere and they had live music in another room, we were unable to go enjoy due to Covid rules but we could at least hear them from our table. The service was a bit on the slow side but that was ok as we...were enjoying a drink as well as the music anyway. We both enjoyed our meals (I had the Bacon Wrapped Scallops and my wife had the Fish Tacos)More

Make sure you go when chef Emile is cooking! Since he started the quality of food has increased by leaps and bounds. He not only makes food with loads of flavour, but such a variety too! Not to mention they offer choices for those requiring...gluten free and there are more vegetarian options than anywhere else. Still could have more vegetarian options, but its a fantastic start. Plus, they don't deep fry everything! Every other restaurant in Digby deep fries their food and it is so incredibly gross. I won't go to a restaurant if the majority of food offered is deep fried. Limits our choices in Digby, so thank you Sydney Pub!More

I made a reservation at this restaurant in advance as I had planned a trip to stay in Digby. I had eaten here a couple of years ago on vacation and remember it being a nice atmosphere so was excited to try it again. When...we arrived for our reservation we were seated at our table. It took quite a bit of time just for the server to bring our menus and tell us the specials, and then about another 20 minutes for them to come back to the table to get our drink/food order. When the server came back he was confused why the other server hadn't looked after us yet. Food was delivered quite quickly after we ordered but it was subpar. The salad was swimming in dressing. Luckily the food was reasonably priced. The atmosphere felt a bit chaotic, stressful and it was not an overly enjoyable time. The servers were apologetic to us about the confusion and wait times—they were also pleasant and friendly. From my own experience serving in the past I see this is a management issue and an issue of being understaffed so I don't blame the servers themselves. However, I was disappointed by the whole experience especially as I was looking forward to eating there again. I don't know if I will give it another try in the future.More

Loved so much about our meal here. It was a very low key and laid back afare. We sat atop the deck in the sunshine and enjoyed beer. The chowder was deliciously flavored and chock full of seafood. It was my favorite and set the...standard for my entire trip. I could have passed over my entree which was a Thai-style scallop dish. It was nicely prepared but all too sweet for my tastes (and tasted more like Chinese sweet and sour). The pub has traditional English fish and chips. They were absolutely delectable and also standard-setting for the island. This would probably be our first top during the next time in Digby.More
