The general vibe of this place is nice, but our experience was let down by the disorganised kitchen. We had ordered a starter to share, followed by two mains. About 50 minutes after placing our food order, our server said the kitchen had burned our...starter, and they were cooking another portion. It did arrive about 15 minutes later, but with everything served at once - including our main dishes of scallops and chicken souvlaki. This was irritating, and no apology was offered. The food was ok - the scallops cooked well, but served a bit cold. The sharing beef nachos , again quite nice, but I would have preferred not to have had to choose between eating one of those and the increasingly cold scallops! My partner’s chicken souvlaki was poor - lowest common denominator type of food, served with a pile of plain rice. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but it’s a shame this place’s kitchen didn’t get its act together on our visit!More

My husband and I stopped by this pub and we had seafood chowder on our minds. The lovely server said it was delicious so we each ordered a cup. It was amazing. In fact, it was perfect! Perfect seafood. Perfect flavour. Perfect size. And oh...… did I mention the cheese bread? It too was delicious. Would love to return for another cup (maybe a bowl!) but unfortunately, we are only in Digby for the night.More

In a nutshell, I can't really advocate this restaurant. We are new to the area and are trying out as many restaurants as we can. Location is lovely. Fantastic view. Trying to get on order filled was like pulling teeth with our waitress. The menu...was just a nightmare of add-ons, and "if that, then that, but not that!" And "we are out of that. No, that item can't be served today" OK... So finally we got an order in, and after about an hour wait (it wasn't even busy in there), the waitress comes out with it. One dish wasn't even close to what we ordered. The other had sauce that was obviously burnt. What we tried to eat was flavourless. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress, she became defensive and said we were mistaken and the order was correct. Apparently her son is the line cook, so I suppose the nepotism there takes precedents over customer service. We paid and left. Left the food behind too. Take into consideration the prices are ridiculously high for what you get.More

We stopped in for a beer on the patio in the afternoon and decided to return for dinner. Wow, the kitchen here is awesome - they prepared us a really delicious feast. We both chose from the specials that day. Both were so good. Very...friendly staff.More

I was hesitant in mixing my hankering for lobster in a linquine. Great choice. The Lobster was in big pieces so you could see you were getting the meat from a claw or part of a tail. It was so tastefully done. Out table service...was excellent as well. We sat out on the deck. Fabulous view! Go again!More

Best place in Digby for food, libation, and music. I had the pork belly stir fry my wife had the lobster linguine. Both dishes were fantastic, great flavor and beautiful presentation. Local craft beer, local wines and Local charm!

We always have a delicious and fun time at this friendly beautiful pub. Lobster in a cognac sauce over linguini was one of the specials tonight and it was divine. As always, service was perfect as we sat out on the deck that overlooks the...Digby harbour- it just doesn’t get better. Oh and did I mention there is live music too.More

We popped in for dinner, with no idea what to expect. We were seated outside on a lovely patio with a nice view. Our server was friendly and welcoming, as befits a pub. The menu was diverse with some interesting items. We settled on a...butter chicken and a noodle bowl with scallops. They were both *excellent*. The scallops were outstanding. The service was efficient, friendly, and at a nice pace - not rushed, not draggy. The local beer options were nice, and the band playing inside was entertaining (we could hear them on the patio through an open window - the volume was appropriate). A great place for a drink (or several), and you’ll definitely have a good meal!More

Dropped in for dinner as it was close to where we are staying. Limited GF options for hubby who is celiac. Food was average for both of us but service was very good.

We stopped in for an early dinner before the crowd started. The vegetarian lasagna and grilled cheese with tomato soup were both tasty - especially the tomato soup. The sides are also worth a try - sweet potato fries, Asian cole slaw, onion rings, etc....The service was super friendly and we enjoyed every bite of every dish we ordered. So happy we stopped in and tried so many options!More
