About
Eliot & Vine is a casual dining restaurant in the North end of Halifax. Our main dining room features banquette window seating, a marble bar, and a cozy atmosphere. The semi-private Frolic Room is great for more intimate evenings, with an exquisite mural painted on the walls by watercolour artist Jean Bradbury. In the summer, sit on our outdoor patio and watch the chefs work their magic in the kitchen through our open garage door. We’re the perfect spot for date nights, birthday and anniversary celebrations, or your next office party. Our menu changes almost daily, featuring local and in-season ingredients in dishes inspired from around the globe. We are happy to accommodate special requests

I recently spent a nice quiet evening sharing conversation and a meal with an old friend. I rate restaurants by acoustic first and food second. If I'm eating out, I want to hear what everyone at the table is saying! Elliot & Vine is just...More

Arriving early to meet a friend, I was greeted by a very kind waitress who made sure I was taken care of right away. I also happened to sneak in just before the end of happy hour and promptly selected a Merlot. The ambiance was...More

What a great spot! From start to finish, everything was top notch. We had the artichoke flatbread as an appetizer, then the lamb shank and the pasta de maiale for mains. Everything was flavourful and beautiful plated. We shared the "chomeur" for dessert and it...More

The "girls" were meeting up for a drink and bite to eat but the place we had chosen was closed for a private function. We ended up at Eliot & Vine and certainly weren't disappointed. They had lots of reservations for the night but made...More

We had great service and nice food. The dessert menu was a bit underwhelming and we were disappointed that my first 2 selections for entrees were unavailable. The atmosphere is pleasant.

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. It's so good to have dining options that don't involve battling downtown Halifax traffic and parking. But more than that the food, service and decor are first class. We shared a naan...More
