The restaurant was eclectic, cozy, and welcoming. Everyone who dealt with us was very aware of celiac, knew exactly what could be made gluten-free and reassured me that the phenomenal looking (and tasting) soup really was gluten-free. They were also clear that deep-fried options were...cross-contaminated. We had the French onion soup (gf), almond salad (gf), and a croque monsieur (not gf, but could be made gf), all were excellent. Both of our desserts - chocolate pot au creme and creme brulee - were gluten-free and made in house. They were excellent. The washrooms - of which there were two - were clean, spacious and gender neutral. Recommended for both celiacs and gluten eaters. The environment is exactly what you want for a cozy, comfortable meal and conversation, and the food tastes like someone cared when they made it.More
