This restaurant had been recommended by the shuttle driver on our bus and a few other people suggested this place so I went. Nothing really stood out - the menu was reasonably priced - the salmon dinner was the cheapest of the places I ate...More

Good first...the scallops were awesome! Would like to give a 5 star for the food. But oh the service just didn’t match up. Giving a four only because the food was sooo good. After a 10 minute wait was told to sit anywhere, the sign...More

We had a talkative cab driver from the airport suggest the Bluenose, said they are a family run business and are the last to offer a 2.5lb lobster for 25 bucks! Unfortunately his recommendation was a bit of a fish story, that I bought hook,...More

Popped in here for a quick lunch looking for a taste of Halifax, and wasn’t disappointed. The wine offered were local and the lobster roll was just what I was looking for. Friendly waitstaff also made it an enjoyable experience.

We had a nice meal here. The lobster was fresh and was very flavourful. We like the chips here, too. The place was very busy when we went, but the employees seemed to keep the flow of the customers happy. We were indeed satisfied with...More

I have walked by this place so many times. I finally decided to try it. I’m glad I did. The haddock tips were very good the French fries were good; but then again, I’m picky about fries. The rice pudding is indeed delicious. Warm and...More

Tucked into the concrete canyons of downtown Halifax is the Bluenose 2. Good food, quick and attentive service and a friendly vibe. "Diner-esque" but upmarket menu choices, too. Popular with locals and visitors. "Try it... you'll like it"!

We had high hopes for the Bluenose but it turned out to be the least good breakfast we had in Halifax. My friend was underwhelmed by the Lobster Benedict, she found the meat a little tough. I had a nice stack of pancakes. They know...More

We were there twice and didn't see any dogs in the restaurant. There is no outside patio and the restaurant is located at the corner of a busy street so I wouldn't suggest leaving the dog outside.
