I got a lavender haze latte (love you taylor) and a cinnamon bun. Both were absolutely divine! I would definitely this little place. Great food and adorable vibes!

This cafe was near our hotel! It was a nice stop to get snacks and hot chocolate for the day. You can also get salads and soups here.
Quaint restaurant and during our stay in Halifax visited this restaurant 5 times in 10 days. Enjoyed their service and quality of my Breakfast Coffee Muffin. (cooked egg on site), choice of ham or bacon and cheese on a muffin. Served while still hot and...was better than what is offered at Tim Hortons or McDonalds. Would go back again if I was ever in the areaMore
Still the #1 for cozy coffee house in Halifax Downtown and the homemade treats are delicious. Feel the cabin in the big city.
After receiving several recommendations to try the Cabin Coffee cinnamon rolls, we decided to stop by and give them a try. OMG! These are probably the best cinnamon rolls we have ever eaten! Highly recommended. Note: Parking in this area is challenging.
Great service!!!! We’ve been here a few times this week and the coffee is great, so are the pastries and the English muffin breakfast sandwich. The decor suits cold winters, as they have large comfy chairs and a huge fireplace. The best thing about this...stop is the warm and inviting smile you get from the entire staff. It’s SO refreshing to see that! Thank you!More
We stopped in for breakfast while en-route to the Halifax waterfront. Although it was busy, we managed to grab a table with comfy armchairs ... one of us joined the line to order. Coffee was good, with a big selection of home-baked goodies on offer...at very good prices. We loved the kitschy cabin vibe (totally cheesy but fun). Service was quick. Recommended.More
Best cinnamon rolls. Ever. Seriously. Try one! Muffins were still warm and so yummy! Fantastic breakfast deal: $5.87 for breakfast sandwich and coffee. (English muffin with egg, cheese, and ham or bacon) Excellent coffee. Lots of fresh and delicious options. Lovely staff!
Stopped in for ice coffee and a treat with my teenage daughter. Our treats, a cinnamon roll and a rice krispie square, were delicious. Our ice coffee was not that good. Atmosphere was good, quiet at the time of our visit. Have stopped in before...and left without eating/drinking due to lack of available seating.More
We were visiting Halifax for the day and touring the waterfront. My daughter wanted a specialty coffee shop so searched up Cabin Coffee and good reviews. Coffee was good and shop was as well, but the young employee that waited on us was ignorant from...the start for some reason. Seemed like we were bothering her by showing up an hour before closing time when she was clearly trying to put everything away for closing. Even my 12 year old son asked why she was mad at us. I’m hoping the rest of the staff are more professional.More
Staying for several nights at Four Points Hotel, a staff member recommended Cabin Coffee for breakfast. In my case having arrived at midnight, “breakfast” was at lunchtime. Still, I found that the rich coffee and 18% milk-fat cream perked [pun intended] up. I had a...breakfast bagel and later a warmed cinnamon roll. Yum! The term “cabin” is appropriate: a relaxed and rustic atmosphere, where there are leather chairs and coffee tables, instead of industrial plastic chairs and Formica tabletops. The staff members are super-courteous and friendly. I noticed many locals gathering throughout the day, a sure sign that quality draws in repeat diners.More
The coffee was good and there were a large variety of muffins and scones, which were all very delicious.
We drove up from Chester to do some shopping, and to find a nice place for breakfast. The Cabin Coffee was listed as a good place for breakfast. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast. The closest they had was a breakfast sandwich, and it was avarage...at best. There were a number of delicious looking pastries but - we wanted breakfast! - you know, bacon and eggs, maybe a few home fries, nope, none of that to be had. Just a suggestion as well - since you're wearing a mask, you really need to speak up, especially to us with senior ears. Neither my wife nor myself could hardly understand a word that person was speaking!More
My husband and I stayed at The Four Points by Sheraton last night and were provided with vouchers for coffee and "breakfast" for the morning since Cabin Coffee is right beside the hotel. It was very convenient and we love supporting local restaurants and establishments...when we can, so we were very happy with out morning brew! I got a Cappuccino and my Husband got an equivalent to a Triple Shot in the Dark. He said it was very good and strong! We got some Cinnamon Buns and Blueberry Cranberry Scones too. They were absolutely amazing! We would recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the downtown Halifax area. Reasonably priced and cute place too.More
The bagels and cinnamon bun were excellent and my wife said her coffee was as well. The service was very good too.
