Stopped in for some appetizers and drinks on a gorgeous pre-summer day. Service was excellent. Had smoked salmon, mussels, oysters, all were terrific. Great views overlooking the Halifax Harbour.

Salty’s is recommended in the travel books and as it is perfectly situated on the Harbourwalk we tried it out on our first night in Halifax. Really good seafood dishes among other choices and lots of choice in wine and beer. Enjoyed our dinner so...More

Our time at salty’s was average. A good thing we had our friends there, because the rest was common. Lobster roll was fair but a bit pricey. Thanks,

Went here based on a referral. Was pretty disappointed. Had the haddock and sweet potato fries. The fish was the greasiest I have ever encountered; it just oozed oil as soon as you cut into it. The fish was served on top of the sweet...More

Was worried it might be tourist trap with lazy, bland, over-priced food but it wasn't that at all. The food was very good and a good value. No complaints at all.

Salty's has a different vibe upstairs vs downstairs. We might have liked the downstairs but we opted for the upstairs which is quite the fine dining experience. Nice views of the harbour and delicious corn bread and fish. Plus you can people watch on the...More

Situated on the water and next to the ferry terminal and Historic Properties, Salty's is a place that is hard to miss. I ate downstairs but another dining area is available on the second floor. The staff were very freindly and competent, the menu is...More

There is some public parking at the wharf but limited. You may have to find street parking within a few books.
