My wife and I went here on our last night in Halifax. The food was OK and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The prices are average as well.

This is a classic looking old Irish pub in a nice location which offers good food, drinks and entertainment. We were lucky to be there for a local ceilieh (sp?) which was quite entertaining for song and dance.

The first visit was a Saturday night so we had booked a table thankfully. We sat right beside the stage and thoroughly enjoyed the live music till around midnight. The meals were so tasty that we returned for another evening meal later in the week.

We stoped by The Old Triangle because of the looks of it. It seemed warming and we weren´t wrong. Bartender pleased our wishes even if the Irish Coffee was not in the regular menu. Place is very nice.

Great place for old time Irish music: bagpipes, fiddle, etc. Good band, but of course very loud. Moved from downstairs, to upstairs where it was easier to carry on a conversation. Food was tasty, with generous servings. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommended for visitors, and...More

No, it would be impossible with a scooter. There are steps. They may have a patio in the summer, but the bathrooms would be a problem.
