Had a late lunch here. Excellent food, craft beers, and the service was top notch. I would definitely eat here again. Very nice atmosphere too. Thanks for a great meal!

At The Wooden Monkey, not only is the food delicious, but the service is great! Our waiter told us jokes throughout our meal, and he was very attentive. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was great! It had a fresh, cool taste that was perfect for a...More

This place is family-friendly and our waiter was very attentive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make dining with a toddler a pleasant and enjoyable experience. As always the food was delicious.

Vegan food we ordered was so awesomely delicious. Our waiter was a delight with tales of his travels and a super cool flip your water glass while it already contains water to refill it trick. Must eat here if you're vegan visiting Halifax!

Great meal prior to attending to the Halifax tattoo. Wonderful that food is locally sourced as much as possible.

We enjoyed the great service and both our main meals - a sesame crusted haddock dish and a vegetable curry with scallops - both flavourful. Service was friendly 10/10. We started with a shared beet salad which was marginal at best. Desserts were solid.
