Not for Moxie's - we made some mistakes on last years trip to Halifax but we were lucky enough to end it with a visit to Moxie's. We started this year's trip off right with a trip to Moxie's once we landed in Halifax. It's...great to be able to walk back into a restaurant you only discovered a year ago and it is exactly the same, not to mention they are functioning during a pandemic. It was the same great service and same great food. I highly recommend their Ceasar drink to start, and the blacken chicken burger for lunch. I believe the last time we were in they have a Club which didn't appear on the menu this time but I was pleasantly impressed with the Blacken Chicken.More

I go to Moxies in Moncton for the Calamari, shrimp appetizer and the Hfx location was as good for me .. the others in our family felt the menu was limited and so so tastes. Wine list was expensive so we passed. Go on Wednesdays...when it is half price.More

Today I went to Moxies in Halifax with a friend and our children. To say the service was bad would be an understatement. The server did not check on us or ask if we needed refills. My son spilled his drink and she visually looked...very annoyed and didn’t offer to clean it up.therefore, the drink and ice stayed under our feet until we left. She didn’t give the kids their deserts that came with their meals until we asked for them and even then it was 17 minutes before she brought out their ice cream. Then we had to ask for our bills. And even after that she did not come back for at least another 10 minutes. She was not friendly and she showed no attention to our table. It was a very long time we spent sitting at the table waiting after we ate our meals. The food however was good. But she ruined the experience for me and unfortunately I don’t plan on going back to that location again.More
