Maybe we should have ordered pasta. But my veal Marsala was inedible and I exchanged it for chicken Marsala that was delicious. A large steamed piece of broccoli and fabulous crispy potatoes accompanied the meat. So, a fifty/ fifty success rate.

We have been to Linguine’s twice now and both times the food has been wonderful. Tons of food and drink choices. Our waitress Emma went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. We will be back.
We had a great meal, very good service. The salad was very fresh. I had the lasagna which was one of the best I have ever had.
Was excited to try this place based on reviews and while it wasn't a terrible experience, we did leave a bit disappointed. I should begin by saying that the place was packed and though that suggests it's a popular spot, there were a couple of...things I found subpar. I chalk some of it up to being busy so would not normally write a review for that reason, but felt compelled based on the fact that it was the reviews that swayed us here over going for the ambience of waterfront dining (lets just say this place relies on "old school Italian charm" as it's theme). They delivered on service, yes we had to wait a bit at times considering how busy they were, but overall the server did a good job at trying to get the food out. We started with a Caesar salad to share and it was pretty good, lots of dressing, could be too much for some but we liked it. I ordered the veal marsala and found it to be disappointing. The meat was tough and bland, relying on the sauce (which lacked the depth of a typical Marsala flavour). They brought me the wrong side pasta, however, fixed it promptly, which is a testament to their customer service. In fairness, the veal parmigiana turned out to be a lot better than what I ordered, and we added some mushrooms from my marsala to the Alfredo pasta side of his, which gave it a bit of something we felt was missing. As for portions, the parmigiana was really small, but they are generous with dressings/sauces. Overall, I wish I'd tried something else as I have to believe with all the reviews that the experience could have been better. And I do appreciate that they work hard to excel in good service. Not convinced I would go back, but never say never. For this time though, can't give it much more than a 3-star rating.More
I ordered the carbonara, it was disgusting. It was made with cream and so much it was basically a soup. Extremely bland, the bacon tasted as it was boiled in cream. Very disappointed, and will never will return.
Delicious! Beautiful setting! Large plates! Definitely recommend this restaurant! Staff was fantastic!
Excellent food! Linguine Con Pesce Red was delish!! . Large portion with lots of seafood. The red sauce was gorgeous. Hard to finish, but so good I found a way. They house white was lovely. The tiramisu was top notch. Too good to share. Very...good decaf. Great restaurant! Excellent service and well priced.More
Restaurant had promise as we noted the 4+ stars. This is a restaurant in need of a make over, it looks dated and tired. The wall bench, where we were seated, had slid down off the wall exposing old paint of a different colour. Both...our meals were mediocre. Mine, Linguine seafood ($40+ with tip and tax) had a somewhat watery sauce, lots of mussels, no scallops (although that was advertised) a tiny piece of fish (maybe two ounces, etc. Cream sauce was kinda bland and not thick. Meal was hot and waitress was good. Would not returnMore
My family and I went to Linguine's to celebrate two birthdays. We had a new server (she was only there 2 weeks) and she made some errors, but this happens when you are just learning. She reached across our food to put pepper on my...dad's dinner, which is a no-no in serving. She also didn't understand that a screw off wine bottle didnt' have a cork! Anyway, that is not the reason for the three stars. I am gluten free. Eating out when you are gluten free is the hard part. I ordered my pasta with gluten free pasta. The sauce was amazing but we had to send my food back because the pasta was under cooked (hard). I suggested to bring back only the sauce. The server arrived only minutes after she took the food back with a 'new meal'. This was steaming hot, it was microwaved! I was not going to send the food back a second time, so ate the sauce. The pasta went untouched. To add insult to my birthday dinner, they charged us a premium of $3.00 for gluten free pasta that was hard and I didn't eat. The manager didn't even come and say anything. This was not a well serviced dinner on their part. To put a person's food in the microwave was crazy. Although my dinner was a disaster, the rest of my family throughly enjoyed their food. The sauce on my food was also amazing. Just a disappointment that we were charged a premium for food that was sent back.More
Linguines Never disappoints - Good food, service and atmosphere. Classic beautiful lux Italian food. Really great stop if someone who’s not super adventurous with food but still LOVES good food!
The most amazing food and service!!!! Had the Early bird menu and what an amazing value for money. Service was excellent!!
We made a reservation for Valentine's Day for an early dinner at 5:00 p.m. We were seated promptly and served quickly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. The food was fresh and hot. We had the caprese salad, a veal dish...and salmon tournedo. We had tiramisu and cappuccino for dessert. Everything was delicious. My only negative comment is there was no basket of bread offered at the table. For an Italian restaurant, this is unheard of. We ordered garlic bread which was delicious but they don't offer plain bread at all. That being said, we would definitely return. Excellent overall.More
On the 1st of December 2022, We had dinner at Linguine's. I ordered a dish, I enjoyed eating the last time I was there. Spaghetti Vongole ( clams with red sauce). I comment to my partner that it didn't taste as good as my previous...clam meal. The following morning, I had stomach cramps, chills, diarrhea, and tossing my cookies. I stayed in bed for 24 hours to rest and fight off the uncomfortable side effects of food poisoning. I'm currently feeling much better. In the future, I will never order this meal again from Linguine's or any other restaurant. I don't want to go through this again. Harold FeiertagMore
Service was very slow, garlic bread and cheese wasn’t baked, seemed to be nuked. Pasta was no better. Was an hour and twenty minutes to get entree. Overall had better pasta at east side Mario’s!
Saturday night no reservation and got in just in time. The place was packed half hour after we arrived. Greeted and seated right away. Now we sat, had made our menu selection and waited for good 10 to 15 minutes before our server showed up...for drink order. Once that was over it was fantastic service. Tanisha was friendly and pleasant. The Veal Marsala and Manicotti were both excellent. Hats off to kitchen. Nice presentation amd served hot. A bread basket or loaf would be a nice offer in a pasta restaurant and be happy to pay for it. We passed on desert. Thanks again Tannisha for great service. We will be returningMore
