It was Brampton’s Jazz festival so we chose Vesuvios’s to enjoy dinner with music. There was one large group in the corner celebrating a birthday while most other patrons gave some attention to the performing artists. It was a nice backdrop for an evening out....As always we were started with a lovely warmed herb bread with a spicy oil on the side. The Giuseppe salad was amazing, chock full of goodies in a lovely blueberry vinaigrette. It was as delicious to eat as it was appealing to look at. Both pasta dishes, fettuccine Alfredo and rigatoni salsa rosata were served piping hot and generous portions. The rigatoni was especially delicious with it’s tasty sauce and chunks of contrasting tangy goat cheese. I’ll definitely have that one again. Service was pleasant but maybe a bit stretched. It seemed like our server had a larger assignment. When we first arrived we did have to wait outside for a bit until we were noticed.... Things are different during Covid-19, so I get it. Once we were discovered we were “admitted” after temperature checks, hand sanitizing and signing in. Good precautions in place and a lovely dinner with jazz ensued.More

My family and I ordered from Vesuvio’s on Uber Eats but when our order arrived one item was missing and one was missing the modifications we had specified. When I called the restaurant about this, they were so kind and helpful! I spoke with the...owner who apologized profusely and he ended up driving the missing and remade items to my home along with a complimentary Tiramisu as we were celebrating my mom’s birthday. This is my mom’s favourite restaurant to order from and this is why. Great customer service and amazing food!More

My friend and I was standing at the front desk for like what felt like 20 mins. And no one acknowledged us. They front desk girl took care of a Caucasian couple that was in front of us and then proceed to totally ignore us....Not sure if it was because we were 2 brown women or not. They kept walking by and doing their thing. No eye contact no hello, we’ll be with you in a moment, nothing. Finally we felt so unwelcome we decided to leave and take our business somewhere else. I was taking my friend there for a birthday dinner. However, I will never return there. They don’t even deserve 1 star.More

I have been taking business clients here for years. The service and the food are top shelf. The wine menu has depth and something for every budget. Portions are generous, and everything is served hot. And even when it's busy , the service is attentive,...friendly and professional. I have hosted everything from 2 person meals to Christmas lunches for 10-12 here. And when I say to my customers, Vesuvio's? It's always a yes. I hope the ride out the present CV challenges and are here for years to come.More

Food, service, and environment was all excellent. I ate with a group of six and I was the only one to order a pizza. My pizza was a few minutes behind the rest of the meals, so they brought me out a small charcuterie board...to snack on while I waited. On the house!! They went out of the way to make it a nice dinner for all of us. Will return forsure!!More

If you are lucky enough to go there on a Saturday night when 11 year old Sabrina? I forgot her name is singing you will be amazed. This little girl sings almost as good as Whitney Houston and I believe her mom brings her most...Saturdays. She makes the place. Otherwise this place has a good atmosphere, you can talk without being heard and stroll through Gage park and City Hall park afterwards. Good. The food however is simply alright. Nothing will ooh or ahh you like Aria's food will. Nothing... anyhow it's a trade off. Can definitely go there on a date or any other reason.More

The restaurant looks completely different from the last time I visited but still provides the same quality food. The service was excellent. My husband and I ate here before heading to the Rose Theatre for a show. We were seated at our reservation time and...received quick but unrushed service. My husband enjoyed the pizza and dessert was delicous. Wonderful meal!More

My husband and I had reservations for 7pm, following a stressful day at a Celebration of Life for my mother. We arrived on time only to be told we had to wait. Watched as other parties came in after us and were seated immediately. We...were told numerous times we were going to be seated soon, explained we had reservations, but still we waited. I was putting on my coat to leave as my husband complained and only then were we seated at 10 after 8. Waited another 15 minutes before we were approached by a server. If I hadn’t been so exhausted I would have left, but my hunger took over and we stayed. I have been a customer for many many years, but I’m sad to say I will never go back.More

We had been to Vesuvios a number of times through the years and have always enjoyed ourselves. On this occasion however we experienced service issues. Our servers were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed by the number of patrons this evening. My main course was...not as ordered and there had been a long gap between our appetizer and the arrival of our mains. All of this we could have been okay with but for the behaviour of the owner at the end of our visit. We had been waiting for the arrival of our bill when the owner approached my wife and asked her how long were we going to be as people at the door were asking. The delays were entirely on the restaurant and my wife was taken aback by his curt rude comment. We had never experienced anything like this and will not be returning.More
