Sorry to say that the gnocchi pasta was nothing short of terrible. It was incredibly bland, the croustinis were soggy and the cheese was akin to plastic. Given the price of these dishes, I found the food quality unacceptable.

J Red created a spacious patio to deal with COVID dining restrictions and it proved to be a good spot to grab a bite to eat. The menu is rather eclectic with some interesting options. We all enjoyed our selections including the Caesar salad, Nashville...crispy chicken sandwich and the crispy chicken bites (an appetizer but large enough for a meal). Service was prompt and efficient, the prices fair and a great craft beer selection.More

They have really adapted to these crazy times. Their special offer of $75.00 includes two appetizers, two mains (not steak) and either a bottle of wine or two desserts. Service is well organized for pickup. Now the food was amazing! Portions were huge! They deconstructed...the very delicious bruschetta crostini with all the fixings, basil pesto, arugula, ciabatta slices, red wine balsamic glaze and of course the flavourful garlicky mix of tomatoes, onion and feta. Very easy to assemble. Yum! Huge house salad with slivers of Romano cheese, roasted red peppers and red onions, balsamic vinaigrette on the side. Seafood fettuccine in a lemon and white wine cream sauce was delicious with an abundance of shrimp, scallops, lobster. Capers added a nice salty touch. Oven roasted salmon in a caper garlic cream sauce hit all the right notes. Seasonal and colourful vegetables accompanied the tasty pan roasted fingerling potatoes. Supporting local during these prolonged lockdowns is so important. J. Red&Co has risen to the challenge. Help them and enjoy their excellent cuisine as takeoutMore

As always a very creative menu. Tempura fried cauliflower was crispy in a sweet Thai chilli sauce and a side of goat cheese French onion dip. Thai red curry chicken breast was so flavourful with ginger scanted basmati rice and Asian veggies. Crispy chicken rigatoni...was so delicious in its peppercorn and sun dried tomatoe cream sauce, with chunks of smoked bacon and red onion. Huge portions! They also appeared to come in recyclable packaging. I took some pics so please forgive the plating... All of it was delicious. Trying to support local during these challenging times.More

Forgot about us after putting us to sit in back corner. Never even offered us water. When my daughter went to tell host... server seemed annoyed that we were ready to order. It was my second time there. The first time was exceptional so not...sure why the service was so poor afterwardsMore

Celebrated my mom’s 50th b-day (Dec 2018) and my team Christmas dinner (Dec 2019). This restaurant is always my go to whenever I have special events. Great food, great place, great music, and most importantly great customer service. Special shout out to Jason Rosso for...exceeding beyond expectations. He went extra mile just to help me out with some receipt issues(which is my fault). Again, thank you Jason. We will definitely be back and celebrate more occasions. See you soon.More

Dinner time would be too loud. You wouldn't be able to hear each other. So like the other suggestions lunchtime would be a better option for a book club meeting. If you want to have a fun night, then dinner is an option as... More
