The pizza met my expectations, I’ve been seeing amazing pictures from locals getting takeout in a relatively new “support local takeout group”. I had high hopes for a delicious meal. I would definitely have the “Canades-eh!” pizza again. The crust was perfect, the sauce and...cheese very flavourful. The toppings could be a little more generous, we didn’t have a lot of bacon on our pizza. I wouldn’t waste your time with the crispy calamari. It was a large portion but ours came severely undercooked. I had to bake it to finish cooking it. Even after that, it was tasteless with gobs of breading. I’m sure it came out of a giant bag that was frozen prior, it was definitely not made in house. The reason we ordered the calamari was because of the pictures on your Facebook page, it looked drool worthy; what we took home looked absolutely nothing like the pictures in the ads. It was highly disappointing to say the least. I was also underwhelmed by the Nutella Cheesecake. It’s expensive and just literally a plain cheesecake with a swipe of Nutella on the top. It wasn’t even artistic looking like most cheesecakes are nowadays. I had hoped it would be amazing but unfortunately it fell short. I do have a suggestion... update your phone system. I could barely hear you on the other end and I know you couldn’t hear me by how many times I was told this. It was extremely frustrating trying to order. I will probably take up valuable cell space on my phone to download your app so that I don’t have to deal with a call again. We will be back for the pizza (because it is delicious) and maybe try some wings next time.More

On your first visit, you must try one or all of the Roman Pizza's. Then, get a take home of the CR7 plus a square of the Eggplant Parmesan Lasagna. You will be blown away with the bold, succulent Italian cuisine and all scratch prepared...in-house under the supervision of the talented Chef Tom.More

Just happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this little gem. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and the pizza is to die for! We also had the spaghetti and meatballs, reminds me of my nonna’s cooking, true authentic Italian. I will definitely be...back.More

I was excited to try this place for lunch. Everything looked good, but it seems like it's all a facade. The soup was cold, chicken parm was dry and lacked flavour, everything is al a carte. I was charged $3.00 for a side of chips...when I can get a large bag for less. $2.50 for a can of pop, really. Never again will I frequent this overpriced spot, we should have known it was trash when we saw no other customers in there.More

I went there on my lunch, ordered a veal on a bun. when she cashed me out I was charged $16.00 for a sandwich. A bit pricey for 1 thin slice of veal on a bun. I was used to California Sandwiches in Toronto where...for $10.00 they give you a sandwich you can barely bite into loaded with layers of veal and mushrooms cheese and peppers. A lot of money for very little veal.More

went for dinner a week ago and we explained to server this was our first visit-music was so loud-she could not hear us nor could we hear her-suggested maybe the music should be turned down-any question we asked her was answered with an I think...so, or I don't know----we questioned the freshness of the food being offered as the lasagna appeared to be all dried out-the pasta seemed very dry indicating it had been sitting out for sometime and she assured us everything was fresh food is brought out every half hour--we proceeded to make our selections and proceeded to a table-my choice was penne pasta veal cutlet and asparagus---none of the food was hot-you might say it was barely warm-went back to server and she said I can heat it up for you-sorry I went out for a nice dinner not to have food reheated in microwave-none of the food we saw looks like the pictures shown--would have had a better meal from a drive through restaurantMore

This is basically a fast food (everything’s already prepared in large quantities when you walk in) cafeteria with zero atmosphere, run by people that act like they’d rather be anywhere but there. They only sell Lasagne on Friday and Saturday although it’s a full time menu...item and they are an Italian restaurant? I’ve been to Mercasa for lunch 3 times now, not terrible but too expensive for average.More

If you love pizza you got to try this place. Been searching for a great pizza place in Brantford and finally found one. Its a Roman style pizza with crust that is light and airy with a buttery taste. The regular size is enough to...feed 4 adults. I would recommend the Seba or Canades-EH.More

Loved the lasagna and pizza but I’m not really into the cafeteria style restaurant......I would highly recommend trying this place but I really wish they made it a traditional restaurant
