Decor was North Indian, in keeping with the great food. We had 2 meat thalis (2 sets of meat dishes, one with Lamb one with chicken (both curries), accompanied by rice, & naan. This was a reasonably priced lunch special (not listed online or on main menu, but shown on take-out flyer). We also ordered Masala Chai (not on menu) & it was authentically prepared (whole spices boiled in milk) & very good. We were served with fashionable white crockery, & curries in Indian copper vessels. It was great to have leftovers to take home. Service was very good & prompt. Music playing was Bee Gees & other western style songs (which I like). I asked server if they have Indian music, & he said yes, it is on another playlist (I will ask for that one next time). Highly recommend this restaurant (only 2 months in operation, not crowded for weekday lunch (which I liked), possibly until it becomes more well known.

My wife and I went to 7 Spices for lunch today. The restaurant is fairly large, modern and bright, with tables and booths, whichever you prefer. There are no lunch specials so we ordered off the regular menu. We had butter chicken, lamb biryani, 1 tea, 1 Kingfisher beer from India, green tea, garlic naan and papadam. All were delicious with the bill coming to $61 before tip. AND, we had as much to take home as we ate for lunch. Will add this to our favourites list.

My wife and I stopped in at 3pm on Saturday to check this place out and I’m glad we did. People were leaving from lunch as we arrived so the restaurant was thinning out (which I prefer).
I’ve spent several weeks in India and love the food and feel I became an Indian food snob after spending time there. 7 Spice Bar has done a great job of bringing legit Indian flavours to Burlington. The menu also includes some fusion dishes such as Butter Chicken Poutine and Nachos.
We had the owner suggest dishes for us based on our likes and experiences. Everything we had tasted amazing and legit. My wife said the food was like eating home cooked Indian flavours. The food here is Indian food and flavours not westernized. Also the quality of ingredients and execution of the meals was outstanding. The shrimp in our biryani was cooked perfectly and each shrimp was plump and large.
The lamb curry we had was melt in the mouth tender, and the curry was so flavourful. Everything was done well and so fragrant and flavourful.
We ordered more than we could eat and haven’t stopped nibbling on it since we have been home. My wife keeps saying how different this food is from the other Indian food restaurants.
I should mention that the decor is nicer than any other Indian restaurant I’ve been to and can only imagine how much nicer it would look in the evening. If you are in the mode for Indian food for dinner I highly recommend 7 Spice Bar!

Yes, it was THAT good. Butter chicken was probably the best I've had...and I've had (and made) a lot. Tandoori chicken was slightly dry (we were late picking up), but taste was excellent. Didn't have any beef available, so tried the Madras Chicken, most excellent. The samosas were big and very flavourful...served with a channa masala that, well, was really good! They opened right before the covid craziness hit, so really hope they survive. 4 big dinner servings (we were hungry) plus 3 lunches for tomorrow for $60. We'll be back...soon!

We tried 7 Spice tonight for the first time ... the food is excellent! Generous portions and great flavours. The Bhel Puri was tangy and crispy. We also had the fish masala (mild and tasty), the Kadia Mushroom dish was also very flavourful, a little spicy so be aware. I had the chicken vindaloo (extra spicy) ... I like spicy food and this was one of the best I have eaten. The owner told us that all the spices are made fresh in the restaurant - the dishes we tried are certainly a testament to this. We had lots of left overs to bring home and enjoy - we'll definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic experience, friendly staff, lovely decor and the FOOD, simply amazing. We have eaten at many Indians all over the world, from back street cafes to high end restaurants and I’ll tell you this place ranks highly. The pakora was light, well spiced and tasted amazing, the Murg Karahi was awesome and the Biryani was also to die for!

Dined in two days earlier alongwith my son. Good ambience, tasty food, prompt service, hygienic.
We had Murgh Malai Tikka and Punjabi Fish Tikka. Both were sumptuous, but I suggest that onion rings should be provided instead of square cut.
In main course we had Delhi Wala Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan and Lachha Paratha. Delicious. One of the best Garlic Naan I had in recent times.
Mocktails too are well made.
Likely to visit again.

Let's face it, most Indian restaurants in the suburbs are terrible. This is the best most authentic Indian food I've had since living in Toronto. Good selection of vegetarian options.
Would be helpful if they added more descriptions of what is in each dish as it is not always self-explanatory.
Would love to see them call out what dishes could be made gluten and dairy free.

Having traveled to India, the food that Seven-Spice has to offer is the most authentic Indian experience I have had while living in Canada.
From the service, to the quality of food and spices, and the cleanliness of this restaurant made it worthwhile.
It's definitely worth the trip if you are in the mood for Indian.
The Garlic Naan was toasted to perfection. You don't want to miss out on their famous Mango Lassi to go with the meal or to have for dessert.
Continue to make spicy spicy curry for all of those who love a good spicy curry!

Was lucky enough to discover this new Indian restaurant in Burlington and decided to have dinner there.
The staff were very friendly from start to finish and the decor is splendid.
My wife and I had a 7 spice veg platter, Ghul Mil Paneer Tikka platter and the Malai Soya Chops.
The veg platter consisted of 4 types Indian starters with a lovely 7 spice sauce, the Ghul consisted of 3 different types of paneer and the chops were marinated in a nice spice selection.
We had them with a side of salad instead of fries and we were glad we did, the salads were very refreshing and tasty.
All the dishes were very different and tasty and the salad’s refreshed the palette between them.
Overall excellent, will definitely be visiting again soon!

I recently went with friends for lunch at 7 Spice. I ordered the business lunch special. Each dish was full of delicious flavour and plentiful. The decor was stunning and the service excellent. We will definitely return.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was warm. The restaurant and washrooms were clean. We were asked to use hand sanitizer at the door. Four of us ate and I must say we have extensive experience with Indian cuisine. We all agreed that our meal was second to none. Great job. Kudos to chef and staff.

We found the 7 Spice Restaurant today completely by accident and we are very pleased that we did! We were made to feel welcome when we arrived and received prompt and efficient service at our table. Our waiter was courteous and informative and our food was excellent! We highly recommend this restaurant. Our great experience today reinforced my preference for family-owned restaurants.
