Great service, altough they forgot the toast. Dishes are huge. I ordered "Montreal smoked meat". Foolishly, I expected, as the menue states, a decent helping of smoked meat. Not even close! It came with plenty of potatoes and variety of fruits. But the smoked meat...conisted of one thin miniscule slice, not bigger than 1/2 a square inch. I repeat, one little slice. I am sure, they make other stuff that comes up to par, but DO NOT order this dish!More
We took our family to Cora Breakfast on Fairview, best place to have pancakes and waffle. My Jo Construction was great. The ambience is very friendly and my family very much enjoyed it. The owner and his wife were around and we talked to them....Family run buisness and highly recommended.More
It's the only place that I am aware of that has a fried bologna breakfast, I don't even look at the menu there. Servers are always dressed neatly and are friendly and the restaurant seems clean.
My husband and I went to Cora’s today after church for breakfast. Their food is consistently delicious, presentation/size is lovely and always the same . Cora’s is a chain that originated in Montreal in 1987 as a small 29 seat Restaurant known as “Chez Cora”....Cora a single Mom struggling to support her children had a vision of serving quality breakfast and lunch and certainly succeeded. Cora’s currently a chain of 130 Restaurants across Canada and growing. All high quality dishes of breakfast foods of Savoury and Sweet. Well known for the variety of delicious Crepes, French toast, Pancakes, Omelettes,Eggs with a variety of breakfast meats Granolas, Oatmeal and Smoothies all served with Fresh Fruit Garnish. Open daily for breakfast and lunch. The only complaint I would have is they close daily at 3:00p.m.. I personally love all these foods and would eat them anytime of day or night. I would be very happy if they were open daily till 8:00 or 9:00p.m. Always fast, fresh and delicious. Today our server seemed to be having a bad day- definitely pleasant enough just forgetful. Nothing major however somewhat confused and forgetful. I wouldn’t fault or judge today’s experience against Cora’s- everyone has a bad day from time to time. In all the years we have been patrons we have always received great friendly service and delicious top quality food regardless of what location you visit. One of my favourite dishes is the “Spinach & Swiss Cheese Crepe” served with Real Maple Syrup ( a small extra charge) yet well worth it. Came with a large wedge of Cantaloupe, slice of sweet pineapple and a few plump strawberries at their peak! My husband ordered his favourite “ 10 Star Omelette” It consists of bacon, ham, sausage, frankfurters, bologna , spinach, tomatoes, green onions,mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and cheddar cheese. Served with potatoes and choice of toast and good size garnish of fresh fruit. With coffee and tea our bill was $40.00. Both good sized portions- I don’t think I will wanting anything else to eat today I’m more than satisfied. We both enjoy Cora’s and highly recommend it.More
Not a huge fan of Cora's. I find the prices to be high for what you get. The service was super slow and the food was mediocre. Would not go back again.
On our last visit Caroline served us. She was hilarious and kept up with my husbands off-the-wall sense of humour. Service was great, food was great as it always is.
Got there very early one day, actually on the way home after a long production. Straight to the point. Rude indifferent service from a waitress who was a smart ass to boot. Took far too long to get my food and the sausages were stone...cold. Probably from yesterday. The rest was eggs and toast. They managed to pull that off okay, but in the end the service (or lack thereof), attitude and cold dry sausage was not even close to being worth the too high prices.More
Had an omelette which was average. Service was good. Price was higher than other breakfast spots. Not worth the extra money.
This location has terrible management and terrible staff! No sense of customer service. You have eat within their time frame to get service, Worst Cora’s ever !
Yesterday just having a good breakfast at Cora food is good now serving gluten free menu very good the people are a very nice and friendly
I always enjoy Cora's! Food is fresh & tasty. Portions are large and have good options of fruit or home fries. The consistency of food quality & good service is also impressive.
This Cora’s is similar to others that I’ve been to - decent food, somewhat overpriced, very busy. Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good - tasty and fresh, and nothing over-the-top amazing. I’d go back if invited, but I wouldn’t choose to return.
I wish I weren’t from out of town so I could come back more often and try everything on the menu. It was a delightful breakfast and I bet they are busy on the weekends!
The food and presentation was wonderful. Portions seemed to be plenty, and the temperature and flavours were good. A bit on the pricey side.
Wait, wait, wait in line, yet there are 10 empty tables in the restaurants and servers who are not that busy. Rainy cold day and we have to start our wait outside. Why? I chalk it up to attitude by the owners. We ordered two...breakfasts with two coffees. Half of the hot food was cold on both plates. The server was very nice, but by the time we got her attention we had already finished the hot food & then they wanted to replace the cold food. $40 for two half cold breakfasts. The hostess asked "how was your meal?" as we left & we replied "half cold". It certainly did not worry her. Clearly, these owners don't care about customer satisfaction. Premium prices, long wait, no quality control on the food coming out of the kitchen. Bye bye cora's on Fairview.More
