Luscious Caribbean dishes spiced and gravied in the best tradition of the islands. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, if not quite the bargains you'll find in Mississauga or Brampton. The place is mostly a take-out joint, but there are plenty of tables for dining in. The music isn't to everyone's liking, but it's not too loud. Plenty of free parking, including a handicapped spot not far from the door.

As a regular customer for many years not only was the food consistently amazing but placing a large order for a company luncheon went flawless. Simone and team even customize each order with names, which made our job as hostess really easy. Several first timers gave rave reviews. We will definitely do this again! Thank you so much for your continued friendly and good service and excellent West Indies food experience.

Fast, friendly service!
Delicious chicken roti ..
Roti skin was fresh, soft and tasty… with lots of curried chicken and potatoes .
I asked for no pepper, but then realized I needed some on the side and could add it if needed -worked out perfectly !
I asked for “gravy “ on the side too but ended up pouring all of it over my roti, it was so delicious!
Although growing up in Trinidad we had never eaten it like this ( usually we ate it in our hands like a big wrap) it was really good and not as messy!
Authentic and delicious… definitely the place to go !

I commend this group of restaurant owners and operators. The young lady who has cashed me out is exceptionally friendly and patient. I wonder how many times she has to answer questions about the heat level in their hot sauces? When I ordered last, she actually let me combine the two varieties of vegetarian option as I was having trouble choosing. She made the modifications with ease! Great service and great tasting food! My compliments to a well run business!

Went for the chicken wings was a lil disappointed. The sauce was messy the containers dnt hold the stuff in well went all over the bag . I expected it to be like the chicken dinners more saucy. Like liquid

Great roti - very tender, and generously filled. A little dry for me, but they offer extra sauce/gravy on the side, so they’ve got that covered.

Great roti we usually order goat and shrimp, only negative is that the gravy is sometimes cool temperature and sometimes the rotis are not hot- again I mean temperature wise. I usually have to reheat in microwave when I get home.

A friend recommended this place and although not from the area, we decided to pop in when travelling the QEW. (Easy access from QEW by-the-way if you’re driving by)
I was hoping for a nice sit down meal, but it’s primarily a take out place. You can eat there, and we did, but if has zero atmosphere. You’re really you’re better off to take it “to go” and enjoy your meal somewhere else.
The “heat” chart on the wall is a bit misleading. I ask for medium and I normally enjoy the heat and flavour, but this was too hot to be enjoyable. Next time I’ll try “touch” on the heat chart.
We had the chicken roti and a jerk chicken dinner. The portion size was fabulous. The meals were good, but hard to enjoy as they were too hot (as mentioned). With the proper spice level I think it would be delicious.

Must visit for lunch, they are closed Monday so I held out until Tuesday for a great roti! Spices are amazing, friendly and fast service. Definitely a five star spot!

I’ve been trying a few places around town for Jerk Chicken. I’ve had a few dozen Roti from D Hot Shop over the years, but never tried anything else.
Amazing! Truly amazing! One of my new favourite meals in Burlington.

I don't often have a reason to be in the neighbourhood, but I will drive out of my way to visit D Hot Shoppe. All of the menu items I've tried so far have been excellent (and I'm looking forward to sampling all the other items). Plus, the portions are generous so it's very good value.
