Thank you for your kind comments. We renovated and rebranded over a year ago and we will be launching a new menu shortly with even more house made items. We have a new baker named Ken who has been busy creating delicious buns and breads for the new menu. I hope to see you soon. More

There is a check list for good pubs. Friendly bar staff who remember you - check. A familiar menu executed well and fairly priced - check. The footie playing on large screens on Saturday morning - check. For my taste - these guys make the best steak and mushroom pie. They make the full british breakfast and offer up Lorne... More

Excellent pub food and great service. We've eaten at Squires a number of times and have always had great service and food. I The fish & chips, chicken wings, meatloaf, steak & kidney pie, chicken fingers, burgers are all very good top quality food. I believe the owner is Indian and the indian dishes are also top notch. Kids also... More

Thank you so much for the awesome review. We try very hard to deliver the best possible food and service and always take great pride in our scratch cooking. I am indeed of Indian descent and enjoy sharing my families own authentic recipes. We certainly do not have a typical "Pub Curry"! Thanks for your review. More

Visited on Saturday night at 6 p.m. with a group of five to celebrate two birthdays. Had been previously for an excellent lunch so recommended the group visit for dinner. Atmosphere is cozy, on both visits servers were excellent, and the food both times was very good with large portions. However, we didn't know that apparently on Saturdays kids eat... More

Recently went here for dinner and was not disappointed. The menu was varied with the usual pub fare but had a good selection of alternate items, ie, Thai, Indian curries, etc. We had the Guinness and steak pie which was excellent. A generous portion and very fresh - just excellent! The chicken pot pie was also really, really good. Pricing... More

We have been going to Squires on Hamilton Mountain for many Years, because of the English /Scottish Menu. so, one Saturday last month we went to the Squires in Burlington. Upon entering the restaurant area at the door, we were almost 'rolled' over by the shear number of kids running around. This is not what the 2 Squires are about... More

Squires Public House rebranded in 2015, formerly known as Ye Olde Squire, is independently owned and operated in this location since 2006, by the same owner. We strive to serve the freshest food possible, and we hate anything frozen! We are dedicated to the art of scratch cooking including in house baked hamburger buns, and naan bread. We make all of our own sauces and stews, use fresh meats sourced locally, hand cut Yukon gold fries and house made desserts. Our menu is varied and diverse and we love to put interesting items on our menu, food that you just don't find in an ordinary Pub! Please try us some time. I promise you won't be disappointed.
