Sadly, Kwality isn't quality

Mediocre food, spotty service, and prices above what you'd expect for a takeout and buffet joint. There are better, cheaper Indian restaurants around. They accept debit and credit, and parking is ample. Delivery available via Just-Eat.

Avoid the buffet

Their prices are somewhat reasonable but the buffet is disgusting. The food is very salty, greasy and fresh food is layered on top of stale food as the buffet progresses. However, I can appreciate that there is only so much a restaurant can do to manage the quality of food in a buffet, when it is left sitting around like that with a thousand people breathing on it as they pile mountains of this crap on their plates. Al a carte is the way to go at this place. We did takeout a few times and were pleasantly surprised. Also their desserts are very good. The only caveat when ordering off the menu is to avoid the buffet items or they will just go straight to the buffet and pack the crap out of there for you to take out. Service is nothing to rave about but the servers are polite.

We visited this place for their buffet lunch. The ambience is not great and service is rather indifferent, but the food was good. They had a choice of veg and non-veg dishes as well as samosas, sauces, chutneys and pickles and a variety of ice creams.

Great Indian Cuisine - They Won Awards For A Reason

Located in a shopping plaza on Guelph Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington, Kwality Fine Indian Cuisine has been serving great Indian fare and sweets for approximately twenty years. Originally established as a buffet with optional a-la-carte service, the restaurant has been a recipient of numerous Readers Choice Awards over many years, and I believe the Platinum Award for three consecutive years. The restaurant underwent some changes as most businesses did when economic times turned and became static a few years back. As such, they answered the changing business climate by devoting their resources toward take-out. As a result of increasing demand by patrons, they are currently and gradually changing back to providing more dine-in service once again. Over the many years that we have patronized this restaurant, their philosophy behind serving fresh, good quality food at reasonable prices has not changed. They may no longer have the extensive buffet table they once did in the past, but the hot table with many popular food items combined with their made to order menu will definitely satisfy any discerning fan of Indian food. Over their many years, they had become very well known and popular for their selection of quality sweets that pretty much occupy one entire side of the restaurant. The presentation of colourful sweets in the display cases are highly tempting, especially at the thought of tickling one's palate with such flavourful and nutty delicacies. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained, and the general ambience is pleasant. As a family run restaurant, the importance of providing excellent customer service is a priority and they try their best to ensure that all customers are made to feel welcome and glad that they visited Kwality. Overall, Kwality Fine Indian Cuisine provides good value for the money by serving fresh and delicious Indian fare. They have a very good selection of a-la-carte items in their menu, and can accommodate the lunch crowd quickly with popular food items from their hot table. Their longevity in the business and the numerous awards over many years I believe serve as an excellent testatment to what has made this restaurant very successful.

Used to eat here years ago. Now they only have take out. I ordered from their online menu, only to find the prices at pickup are higher. Our biggest concern was the inability to vary the spice level of the food, which most Indian restaurants do. I was told the food is not "child friendly", and was specifically told the spice level is "medium". Of course the butter chicken was mild but the aloo ghobi was far from medium. I can handle medium-hot, and this was almost too spicy for me. On top of this, the chana masala was watery, with a lot of filler ( we don't even know what was in it). We also got malai tikka-for $16 we barely got 2 chicken breasts (maybe 1 1/2). Finally, all the butter naan was burnt (and we ordered 6). When I called about the spice level, the employee kept reiterating that he had told me the food is not for children. There are many better places than this and the only reason I gave two stars was the food was ready at pickup time and it was hot (temperature wise!). I simply cannot recommend this place.

We went for an early supper. Two of us shared 2 vegetarian dishes. Both were fantastic! The third person had the butter chicken and enjoyed it greatly. The naan bread was freshly made, and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend Kwality.

We ordered dinner for birthday party last night and we all ate half of the dish we had, luckily. As I had just finished mine which was dry and big chunks of chicken I ran to the toilet and was sick ,mine was butter chicken, my husband daughter son in law and daughter in law were all sick through the night .I contacted the restaurant twice to notify them what happened with no response from them ,we had different dishes my only thought was they were old or reheated, I would not order from here again.

Literally this website should have provision for negative ratings. Most pathetic experience in GTA. Pathetic food, pathetic experience with the staff. Really dont waste your time and money in visiting this place

I wish I could give 0 star review for the quality of kwality fine Indian cuisine but this website is not giving the option of zero star review. The restaurant's name is Kwality but the dinner I ate there was of poor quality and looked like food was cooked very early during the day and was reheated again and again. When I spoke to Manager of the restaurant about the poor quality reheated food then he said that's normal when they cook food in large quantity. Table service was poor and there was only one server in restaurant. Even though there were very few customers were dining in at that time but server was not even attending to those customers. There was no tissue paper on tables and when I asked server about tissue paper then she said go to counter and get tissue paper and she further said that's how they provide self service to people who eat buffet. what a rude behaviour! She did not even pick up plates from our table timely and did not serve water. When I asked manager why your server is so rude then he said the server is student and students work like that. Hey manager you charge like professional chef and provide student services to customer. Wasted $95.99 for 5 people buffet dinner for reheated food with extremely rude and unprofessional service. I will never go there again and not recommending this poor quality restaurant to any of my friends.

Great Place to Eat

I have been a regular at Kwality for several years and have always enjoyed the buffet. The foods are freshly prepared and well spiced. The buffet table is kept hot and is refreshed regularly. I would recommend Kwality to anyone who appreciates good Indian food.

Ignore the poor reviews! Kwality puts out a truly excellent buffet. All items (and there are always more than enough) are freshly made, and constantly refreshed. The spicing is perfect, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and of high quality. I have visited many Indian buffet restaurants in several countries, including in Europe and in India itself. I have to say that nothing has surpassed Kwality. I have been a customer for many years, and can highly recommend Kwality for its food as well as its friendly and helpful customer service.

Each time we come to visit family we go to Kwality Indian Restaurant. We do the all you can eat lunch buffet! So gooooood! Everything they have there is so delicious! We roll out of there, so full...we don't need to eat dinner! The Chicken and Lamb curry is superb!

Worst customer service

I went with my kids to get dinner i asked the owner what are choices for non spicy ckicken he suggested afghan chicken i sat with my kids when food came he said u cant eat here we went to the car and open the ckicken it was literally raw and they just put some yougart on it i went back and asked him to fry a bit he came back in one minute and when i told him it is raw and u need to fry it more he became abusive and said dont make me mad when i asked him to return the money he refused and blamed u may have mixed something in the food Worst ever service i have experienced in my life
