Whether we dine in or take out we are never disappointed. People we bring there, or have over for dinner with take out, always enjoy the food very much. Everything is always so fresh and tastes homemade, not processed. The staff and service are the best.

What a fantastic meal we had at Banh Thai. We had the appetizer plate which had chicken satay on bamboo sticks, Thai spring rolls, shrimp in batter, and fried taro and tofu -- all excellent. Then we had different lunch specials which included hot and sour soup and a spring roll. The pineapple chicken curry and the basil beef were excellent. As well we ordered shrimp pad Thai as our third lunch special and honestly, it was the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Each of us enjoyed our meal and were stuffed when we left. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We have come here a number of times over many years and find the food consistently excellent, one of the best in the Hamilton-Burlington area. The Cashew Chicken dish is outstanding, with chunks of orange in it, not just orange juice. The Pad Thai is also one of the best. Our only criticism today would be the service. The restaurant was unusually full for a Sunday noon and there were only 2 servers. The young lady who served us was very pleasant but very busy. That is probably why she forgot to give us serviettes and it took some waving to get her attention. That's not that big a deal and we will definitely return.

Overall 1 star for not so great food and terribly rude service during our dining in experience.
1. Their Coconut Chicken soup was lacking vegetables. It only comes with the coconut lemony broth and some chicken pieces and literally one piece of ginger and a couple pieces of lemongrass (is lemongrass even edible?) What kind of soup is this: prison soup? 'Thai Coconut' over on Fairview St. also in Burlington serves a proper coconut chicken soup, with vegetables along with the broth and chicken. It comes with thinly sliced onion, peppers, bean sprouts and 3 types different kinds of mushrooms. Now that is a proper and delicious soup!!
2. Their 'Eggplant Delight' is more like an "Onion Delight". I love eggplant so I was excited for this. I got way too many onions thickly sliced, instead of so many eggplant pieces and only three pepper pieces, two green and one red. Is this a properly made stir fry, I do not think so!! I left all that unnecessary onion on the plate.
3. This place is obviously cheap on including a proper amount of ingredients in their dishes.
4. Lastly, I also ordered the 'BBQ Chicken' with the stir fry and it was not good at all. It was not BBQed or Grilled, just cooked and bland in flavor. That was the biggest disappointment of all when it came to the food. I did not eat it, only had the one piece and left it as I did not like it.
5. The customer service: I told the owner/waiter who was serving us that I do not like the 'BBQ Chicken' after trying it and she rudely did not take the plate from me saying just leave it on the table expressing a fit of anger with her hands flying all over our food and table. How rude is that?! My friends jaws dropped open. After that, we were ignored until she came to the table with our bill. I was thirsty and left thirsty, we did not get asked if we maybe wanted anything else, like perhaps some water. This is the most ridiculous part: she charged me for the 'BBQ Chicken' that I did not eat. I did not pay for it but nice try.
I know the restaurant business is going through a hard time right now but cutting back on main ingredients in your dishes that are suppose to be authentic and being rude to your clients that made it a point to come into your restaurant in the midst of a pandemic is not going to help your business.

Thai restaurant near our house so wanted to try. Ordered some pick up food as dine in was not possible due to Covid
Prawn curry was good. Red Thai curry was quite authentic
Overall food experience was good. Portions are reasonable

Authentic Thai food. Good service. Ample parking space available. Portion sizes are good and food is spectacular. Lots of menu options. Restaurant is really large - probably great for gatherings and accommodating for parties. Pad Thai is really delicious

Very good service. Terrible food. Do not go if you like good food. We had a curry dish - pretty tasteless, watery. Will never visit it again.

I always preferred Bhan Thai over all others in the area as it consistently delivers the best tasting food. My only knock is the price but it's on par for what you get in Burlington.

Bahn Thai has become our favorite Thai food place. They have the best variety in the menu and everything is delicious!! The service is always kind and you feel like home!! Love all the curries and the Pad Thai!!!

If you’re looking for amazing Thai food in Burlington I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is great and the food is delicious!!! Love the orange cashew chicken, the vegetable pad thai and mango salad.

Dropped in for an early munch and had the Pad Thai lunch special. Soup was excellent and the Pad Thai was delicious. Server kept my water glass full! Very happy and will return again soon!
