Went with a large group for lunch and service was excellent, especially considering we were a large group. One waiter even ran and got an item for me, instead of me getting it on my own,. The variety of good was fabulous, everything you would...want or wish for. Their cold shrimp with cocktail sauce is one of the best around. i love the restaurant it is the best all you can eat buffet ever. i love the desert zone. it even has ice cream.

This was our first experience with the Mandarin in Burlington, we've visited Mandarins in other Cities before. They were careful with the Covid Protocal and we felt at ease. The food was good - not exceptional - not "hot" just "warm" but still good. The...restaurant is very clean and organized. Nice to get back to the buffet after so long away from it. Mandarin food is very good and it has a good selection - definitely a place we visit frequently - price is worth it- service is good - what more could you ask for?More

Last night we ordered take out from the location in Burlington and every item on the menu was horrible. I couldn't believe how bad i was. I had been going to the location pre covid for the buffet for 12 years. We had chowmein with...beef(it smelled and tasted burnt and was inedible, the spareribs were rock hard and for sure days old, the eggrolls were terrible. The worst was the shrimp was fishy and was absolutely the worst old disgusting shrimp we have ever had. My wife and I were both sick and on the toilet from just a few bites we actually tried. Lemon chicken was gross and stale. Every thing we ordered was worse than the next. It was a $63.00 order and there nothing we could eat. Complete and utter dissappointment. Never order or eat here is you want anythng fresh or that taste like food.More

We ordered take out food during the lock down. Sad to see this large restaurant empty, with one employee manning the front desk. We are on healthy food diets so appreciate the calorie counts on the menu. We could choose low cal chicken with almonds...and sliced vegetables, shrimp with mixed vegetables, and two Spring Rolls. Food was ready for pickup in 30 minutes, and it was fabulous. Actually made two meals each for 2 that were excellent. We were really pleased because 2 weeks before we ordered from a local Chinese Food place and gave them 1 star....so nice to see we can always count on the Mandarin.More
We dined on a Saturday night with our grandchildren, their mom and dad to celebrate my 71st birthday. Buffet style Chinese food was the cuisine. The food was fresh and very tasty. The selection was broad enough to allow 3 or 7 year-olds to eat...(see the dessert and ice cream bars) as well as more adult tastes. Table care and service was timely and very polite.More

The food seemed about average at best. Looks like the Mandarin has taken a step down in quality. Service was good but not congenial. Price for the smorgasbord was high.
Enjoyable lunch all the time. Great selection of foods. Try to go once a month, whether alone or with family and friends
The waitress was attentive and personable. Tries to be all things to all people. Better to reduce the selection and do them well. Reasonably priced for seniors who do not have the appetite to go to the buffet numerous times.
You get a hankering for Mandarin every few years and every time you go you regret it. The quality of the food has gone down year over year. Instead of having 200 items maybe reduce it to 100 items even and do them better. Poor...quality meats with poor quality ingredients. If this was $14.99 all the time I’d go occasionally.More
So many choices that you could not possibly try everything. Options for carnivores and vegetarians alike...the staff always appear to be busy, whether they're serving or prepping and resupplying the buffet. I'm also happy that the cold food is cold and the hot food hot.
Great selection of Chinese food. Good hot and sour soup. Great Suchi. Nice selection of salads. Great pot stickers.
We were joined by our sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter for a Thanksgiving Day lunch. Absolutely no complaints! The buffet offered plenty of Chinese favourites together with many other hot dishes, salads and desserts. Everything was very fresh.
