Considering the cost it was dissapointing

The food was just o.k. I had the Navy Bean soup and Fisherman’s Platter. Fried food was a bit greasy. Navy bean soup was bland. The scollops were a bread shell without scollops. With two glasses of wine it was $90.00 tip included. If tax added it would be over $100.00. Better to cook at home..

Great Greek food but this time the service was disappointing

Great Greek food. We enjoyed dinner out to Sortiros? a main staple in Burlington for years. We have had many great meals there over the years and this one did not disappoint. The souvlaki lamb, dips and saganaki were all tasty. What was lacking this time was the service. There were lots of people working but for some reason our server was no where to be found a number of times. When we did find her she was quick to get us more water etc. But as the dinner progressed her presence diminished more. We were never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to drink something else while we were waiting. Then we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our take away boxes and then to pay. We waved down some other server to pay. We saw our server working in the party room. Not sure why. Also this restaurant years ago had live Greek music. I do think they should bring it back on the weekends. Yes this is a busy restaurant but with all the staff not sure why the service was not up to par.

Have always loved this place, but please bring back the garlic bread!!!

As usual, food was great! Service was Great and the value was definitely there. My only criticism is that they have eliminated the famous garlic bread, which we love. We live outside of the country and don’t get Greek food much and we came back hoping to have the garlic bread (amongst other stuff they serve). Still awesome, but please bring back the garlic bread!!

I feel completely ripped off!!

Catered my Christmas Eve celebration at home from this restaurant. Ordered well in advance, paid in advance, picked up my order on time, get home where guests had already arrived only to find out they didn't give me part of my meat order. I didn't have time to go back so needless to say my guests didn't get enough meat. However, the restaurant gave me enough pita and dip to serve 10 times the amount of people I actually purchased for. Thank god I made grilled veggies and salad to supplement my dinner. The next day I sent an email to the restaurant letting them know they charged me for meat that they did not provide, I gave them a month and a half to respond and to this day I have not heard a thing. As far as I am concerned they stole my money. I paid over $400 for catering and they couldn't even offer a credit or a gift card to make up for taking money for product they didn't supply. I had my wedding reception at their restaurant so I expected to be treated the way I had been then. Nope! I refuse to ever give them another penny and I don't recommend anyone else give them business either.

1st time customer who won't return. I get all over there are staff shortages but I don't know if that was the case here or not. Certainly service was terrible. We were a party of 8 and had multiple staff bringing items, it was very unorganized and slow. 2 .5 hours to get through a mediocre dinner. 1 dinner had to be returned, had to keep checking if food items were still going to be coming. 1 person received wrong food item and meals seemed rather greasy. When we received our bill waitress said when we made reservation we should have been notified for our party size there would be an automatic 18% gratuity. We were not informed of this and thankfully were not charged. Had it been good service it would not have been a problem. As the restaurant began filling up it was extremely load do to the open nature of the facility. Hard to carry conversation.

Try a different Greek restaurant

Ordered the steak souvlaki. Asked for medium. NY strip marinated as per menu. Meat was so tough had to cut into small pieces to chew, third piece tasted mooy for lack of a better word. Trouble getting server to refill drinks. One friend had same as I, same reaction. Another friend ordered the chicken filets also very dry. Let’s just say my dog ate well for a few days. With one Alcohol drink, a tea whose water was maybe warmed by the sun, the bill was $70 with tip. I left annoyed and hungry. The place was not busy so not sure why the food and service were bad. Thank goodness Burlington has so many other restaurants

Terrible dining experience!

What a nightmare from start to finish! In fairness to this awful restaurant, it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Consequently, the noise was unbearably loud and my partner and I could only communicate by shouting to eachother. Once seated it took forever to catch the eye of a server who obviously had little or no time for us and clearly we were a nuisance. Finally she stayed with us long enough to order a bottle of wine and some food. Two Greek salads were literally thrown on our table and when she poured the wine (no tasting offered) she sloshed it into the glass with such force that it splashed a substantial amount onto the table. The food was inedible .. one greasy chicken souvlaki and a large gyros dinner that looked and tasted like leather. Most of both dinners remained on the plates. Avoid this place ... there are plenty of GOOD restaurants in Burlington ... this is not one of them...

NOT WORTH THE WAIT OR FRUSTRATION

Took half an hour to be seated for our reservation. Hostess at front desk was rude. Additional 1.5 hours to given our meals. Manager oferred a Glass of wine on the house, no surprise, it was on our bill and we paid for it. Salad was a bowl of red onion with a few lettuce leaves scattered in and was soggy from being over dressed. 16 year patron and will not return.

I am so sad, I look forward to my dinner here for my birthday every year. My boyfriend surprised me and brought me home sotiris after a super long day at work for my birthday. I was so looking forward to it. I usually get the large Greek salad and gyro platter. My salad had only a little bit of dressing (half a container), huge chunks of red cabbage (too hard to eat), 3 ends of a head of lettuce (the end part u cut off) and maybe a teaspoon of feta. I don't know what happened to the quality of this salad but it has gone way down hill. My gyro meat was tasty but very oily and cold. The tzaiki was spilled over in the oil so I was not able to enjoy this. Together our meals came to almost $60 and I feel this was such a waste as I did not even get to finish or enjoy mine. This went from one of my favourite resturants to not feeling worth it to return. I am sad to write this as I used to love it there.

A Great night of Food and Family

Love this place! Great food, amazing service, and a beautiful venue. They serve up large portions and. do not skimp on anything. Great quality delicious food. If you have a big group this is one of the best spots to enjoy a great dinner. Our family of eight dine here often and also take advantage of the takeout from time to time as well. A family favorite where everyone enjoys what they order with a well-balanced menu that suits everyone.

Bad service, rude and disrespectful waitress

The waitress'(very short cut white hair lady) service was very disappointing and she was rude. We were never asked how the food taste and how was everything. When collecting the dirty dishes, she did not take what was handed in to her. Instead she said very rudely to me "I need that one". So what is THAT ONE? She acted like I was supposed to pass the RIGHT dishes she wanted without saying nicely. And she was always at the other side of the table and expected us to get the dirty dishes to her hands. Very rude and disrespectful.

Made a reservation, arrived on time and hostess says "oh you'll need to wait awhile" I said awhile? She says "Ya like 15 mins" saying it in a rude tone. I'm thinking ok... 15 mins isn't bad anyways. We ordered drinks at the bar and within mins our table was ready. Our waitress comes and we had asked for just 5 mins to look over menu, she came back approximately 25 mins later. Wasn't upset for that too much. It was waiting an hour and 45 mins for our food. It was only a party of 5 with no appetizers ordered. Had also asked for a pop refill and didn't receive it so I mentioned politely again and was looked at and spoken to with attitude from our waitress. A little uncalled for, all she could have said was I'm sorry it had slipped my mind and it would have been totally fine. It's disappointing going to a great restaurant that has fantastic food and having to deal with a attitude from a hostess then a waitress, and waiting close to 2 hours for our food.

Deplorable customer service> food

The worst experience for take out. Incorrect change. Rude staff. Wrong order. The one staff member even chased after out the door Me to double check I had the correct order, but it was still wrong. When I returned to get the right order, they lied and said they remade it, but I could tell by the time and the temperature of the food that they just reheated the original order that had been sitting there 1 hour and tried to pass it off as fresh. It’s unfortunate because I came here 7 years ago and had a marvellous experience. I will not be returning ever again.

Called several days in advance for dinner reservations showed up early no reservations on file so we had to wait. No apology. Ordered 3 dinner combos to share between 6 adults. Fish platter came first then waited for the other two with no plates on the table. We were told on several occasions they were very busy. Food was good chicken dry as always don’t think we will be back for a while. Food was hot and wait staff friendly.

Went for lunch. Ordered the gyros dinner. Got a boring salad mostly lettuce with little dressing, a small smattering of feta, 1 mini tomato and 1 olive. The gyro meat was obviously cut days ago and was dried up. The rice was so boring - no flavour. I love Greek food but this was totally disappointing. Left most on my plate. The only good thing was the potato but there wasn’t much of it.
